Digital Event is fine. I don't think they'll be making a press conference—if they do that, it's okay but DE just reaches to more people/it's more convenient. It's been doing fine for 3 years now. What I think they could do is after the DE is over, they show the NX booth they have at E3.

I'll be fine with a "Pre E3 Conference Direct" that unveils the NX and just gives us a basic understanding of what it is. They did that with the Wii U.

However, they really need a live conference to generate interest in the console. Digital Events and what not are fine for Nintendo fans, but Nintendo's problem is that they have felt too underground and niche lately.

Since we are going to hear news about the NX during this year's E3, i feel i need to ask this question.

Would you rather have a Press Conference like Sony and Microsoft, or would you rather stick with a Digital Event?

I would actually like to see Nintendo do a live conference this year.
As successful as the Digital Events have been, they don't really have the same amount of hype as live conferences.

Mega Man's reveal was already hype enough, but could you imagine what it would be like if this was shown in front of an audience.

At the very least, I would like to see Nintendo do what Sony did and have their conferences available to watch in certain movie theaters.

Imagine, in a live conference, where Sakurai is talking about Smash on-stage and before he gets off the stage, he says "i have one last suprise up my sleeve", and the trailer starts.
