Yeah, the same thing happens to me.I just realised, this time last year I would have been counting down the days to E3. Now I don't even know what dates it's running at. You'd think with a new console on the horizon I'd be a little more Hype. I guess Smash is the only one with the magic.
Super Mario RPG was one of the biggest VC games for the Wii...Apparently SquareEnix owns Taito now, so Little Samson and Cocoron are owned by them
I don't think any SquareEnix games have come to virtual console, although I'm not sure, but that probably is why none of them will come to virtual console...
Only thing truly ruined for me was the Paper Mario series. And the level setting variety in standard Mario games. Other than that I wouldn't classify anything as ruined, just disappointing.Yeah, the same thing happens to me.
I'm just curious about the NX, not hyped at all.
Nintendo really ruined some things for me in the last years.
Did it take 3 days to fund it?Anyone remember that potato salad Kickstarter?
Haha, I think I used the wrong word, disappointing is a better option.Only thing truly ruined for me was the Paper Mario series. And the level setting variety in standard Mario games. Other than that I wouldn't classify anything as ruined, just disappointing.
What do you consider ruined?
Imagine having to explain that expense.Anyone remember that potato salad Kickstarter?
As long as they don't drag it on like ben 10, it should be fine.Oh, the show's a confirmed thing.
They have a 26 episode contract for 2017, hence why it's listed on the TV Tropes page.
Nobody knows what the show's going to be like, but we know it's going to exist.
It is possible that this mechanic may be removed in future games tho...Why are some people actually upset about Robin's Limits on his Tomes, and Levin Sword? Some of them say that it makes Robin underpowered, acts like it takes forever to regain one, and say that it will be the sole reason why Robin won't return in Smash 5. I mean I thought it was fun of throwing books at my opponents at quite a Long range, was actually unique and part of Robin's source material. It really sounds like this complaint is coming from people who really like Spamming projectiles.
Let's not forget about Wario's bike pieces. It is possible that this mechanic may be removed in future games tho...
Much like how Samus can no longer CHUCK PIECES OF HER OWN SUIT in Brawl...ah those were fun times...
I mean, considering that the Homestuck adventure game team got it's money stolen by the guys who did the new King's Quest and had to start over pretty much from scratch, I'm a bit more understanding of that one.I've backed 3 kickstarters:
Homestuck adventure game
Yooka Laylee
Bring back Mystery Science Theater 3000.
I'm a bit irritated by Homestuck, It's been a LONG time.
I'm happy with the other two though.
Yeah but at least you cam still chuck his bike...Let's not forget about Wario's bike pieces.
Paper Mario and Metroid (Federation Farce) are two big ones for me.Only thing truly ruined for me was the Paper Mario series. And the level setting variety in standard Mario games. Other than that I wouldn't classify anything as ruined, just disappointing.
What do you consider ruined?
If people seriously think Robin won't return because of a moveset mechanic they don't like, they don't know how Smash works. Why are some people actually upset about Robin's Limits on his Tomes, and Levin Sword? Some of them say that it makes Robin underpowered, acts like it takes forever to regain one, and say that it will be the sole reason why Robin won't return in Smash 5. I mean I thought it was fun of throwing books at my opponents at quite a Long range, was actually unique and part of Robin's source material. It really sounds like this complaint is coming from people who really like Spamming projectiles.
You can throw books at enemies in FE? I... don't think this is quite accuratethrowing books at my opponents at quite a Long range, was actually unique and part of Robin's source material.
And even that last one involves two characters that were directly related to a cut mechanic. Granted, one made it out scott free, but they would have had to have made new moves for the other two in addition to having a huge pile of Pokemon characters.Of all the characters cut from Smash the only ones with Unique movesets cut were down to System Limitations, Konami's newfuound fear of money or being over the apparent Pokemon limit.
Not exactlyIt's the entire game, so you can play it from start to finish
She became a target for hate -> people investigated her -> Her unflattering thesis emerged -> Nintendo didn't like it and got rid of her.https://intel-i386.tumblr.com/post/142262706095
So this is interesting.
The TL:DR of it is this girl got fired for unrelated reasons to anything sexist at all, but is obviously trying to play that up. She was a Treehouse member and supposedly a 'partial' reason as to why some games have been localized the way they are, THOUGH I don't really know how much truth that last bit holds.
And Anita Sarkisian is backing her up for this being sexism when she literally did something that would get ANYONE fired.
Also I guess she wrote an essay on why Child Pornography is okay when she was in college or something? I don't know, it's tough to really say what's accurate or exaggerated here.
