Comparing something of a culture to something else of the same culture does not lessen how much the first thing has a disparity to the culture which it is being sold in.

Fire Emblem is more "Japanese" than Advance Wars but it is not so much enrooted within the culture to where it is something that makes core parts of itself lost to an international market.

Digimon is still better than Pokemon which tops everything else in that "niche"

You know, I knew of forest but I only got and played his paralouge yesterday. Thought they were a girl at first.. The dialog there was quite interesting.

I found it surprising that Leo hated that Forest dressed like a girl, or that his son liked that. I thought trans, but I was like nah, he just likes cross dressing. It's neat to see everyone else accept him, and then Leo did to in the end. I was really surprised by this. I like the story and character though.

Basically I find it hilarious that people criticized the localization of fates. Let's go down the list of things this game has that would surprise most to even make it through localization:

-Cursing. Sure it's not major really or to bad, but people would never expect it in a Nintendo game.

-Lot's of innuendos....

-Deep and insightful back stories, that in some cases cover more mature topics.

-Lot's of moral conflict that goes into somewhat dark themes.

-Gay Marriage( Which honestly is a neat feature for them to have for people)

-Incest( not in a creepy way, and not truly it, but again makes sense as this happened often in the past)

-Characters that are against normal standards, and promoted with acceptance.

So yeah, not going spoil them, but there are a lot of examples there, censoring did nothing. And I really like FE for going out and doing many things people wouldn't normally do! Good on you Intelligent Systems.

And a side note:

Last night, I don't know how, but while playing conquest, I got Izana.

Shouldn't that be a problem? He comes from a neutral kingdom, and is just like, I'll join Nohr! That should cause a major shift in the war....

Destroy the shield ball in the center of the room and you should be able to attack Vita. Don't focus on Vita on his Vita phase.

He seems like a cool unit but I got him on the final chapter so it's pointless lol. But I was I was trying to comprehend how this would work without there being major problems in their as it was a big deal/issue that the country was neutral.

He's basically the Fates equivalent of Awakening's Gangrel/Walhart/Emmeryn/Aversa
He's just there so the player can play as him, you shouldn't really consider him "canon"

They have bundles and in the amiibo ones, the Falco amiibo is included.

I'm peeved because I want that shirt and cap but Nintendo UK Store refuse me now because they don't like forwaring services for no good reason. :\

I think it's less about what Microsoft wants and more about what Iron Galaxy wants. Rash didn't have any advertising benefits, they put him in because they liked the idea.

It was the "Collector's Edition" that was exclusive to Europe (which I own ). It was very expensive though, cost me about €115 IIRC, and it was extremely limited. Got mine imported from Germany, pre-ordered before release.

Japan also got it's own unique Special Edition.

That's only for the PC version, you can't get it separately on consoles.

Why, after playing a game as long as XCX, would you immediately start a second run, especially when there are no time sensitive quests?
