And yeah I wish they actually showed the winners, why even hire trainers? Especially one those people haven't gotten to play pokken really.

It be better to have each person that won locals just fight each other, they don't need to bring in trainers. It's neat, but pointless if you make it focused on them and not the actual competitors.

Honestly, I think the original Xenoblade wins out for gameplay and story. Xeno X just has some better scenery and mobility.

I've heard mixed opinions from those who played both...some say XC is better while others say XCX is better, I'd say most preferred the former however...I'll see when I play the game, though I'm not looking to compare the two titles otherwise I likely won't enjoy the game as much...

I was certainly confused by that announcement, given that "trainer" in the context of literally any other Pokémon competition effectively just means "competitor", because branding and such. Pro fighting game players actually training the players is a really neat idea, though.

This man has made many fun and enjoyable puzzles over the course of his career. I'm not sure if I would have adored the Professor Layton franchise as much if it wasn't for the many great puzzles and brain teasers he had come up with for the games, especially during my very first play through of Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Unwound/Lost Future which cemented me as a big fan of the Professor Layton franchise even to this very day! It's a real shame to hear this, my condolences goes out to his friends and family, thank you for notifying me of this Fumi-Chan.

Just... noting some little bits.

I was joking with the DK subtitle. Lost track of the FF one though. There's to many xD. Gen 8 was also a joke. I was thinking among the lines of the Plus and minus rumors that spurred about 4 months after XY came out that said gen 7 was being worked on for a new system, presumably the Wii U. Which obviously is not the case, so I made gen 8 as a call back to that.

For a real Pokemon title, I'd love either a Sequel or remake of XD or Colosseum. A new title like Pokken would be great to. Perhaps Fire Emblem since they planned to do it instead of the shin megami tensei crossover.

I considered golden Sun. But the creator seems to want to wait a bit before making a new one. Didn't they also say they wanted to see high demand for another as well? Yes there is demand, but I don't think Nintendo sees it as big yet.

Went to one of those arcades that give you an hour to play what you want today. Got to play a bit of VS Duck Hunt, Fix It Felix Jr, and Die Hard Arcade (which is easily the arcade game I played the most years ago when a local Fuddruckers had a few arcade machines.)

I beat Chapter 25 earlier today of conquest.

Damn Ryouma just killed himself. That sucks, I didn't want him to die even if it was expected. Nice cutscene between Azura and Corrin as well. I also started 26. Glad we get to kill Iago and Hans this chapter! Them and their stupid faceless better prepare themselves! After 25 this shouldn't be to bad, but I'm assuming that you need to keep the group together. That's how I beat 25, as the group can protect each other and take out one side of that map and a time. Might split them up here and see what gets done though!

So close to the ending!

Xander and Soliel hardly lasted and got through. Even then I had to keep on soft reseting because of Kagerou didn't want to get hit.

Chapter 26 was a breeze though because I didn't make that mistake again.

I really don't like how they animated he wings on vespiquen in X/Y

I think they only used 2 frames and are really fast switching between them.

I tested animation on bug wings before and I think I found that 3 or 4 frames in different positions was required to stop it from looking TOO weird

Edit: on closer inspection that's not the case. But it's still definitely has no middle position animations

Like it completely eradicates all challenge from the get go. In the case of every other one they have done, it's just "get the option for a bit of special help if you fail so many times in a row, but get penalised for accepting said help", or something like Mellow Mode in Yoshi's Woolly World, which makes things easier in most cases but it still leaves SOME challenge and in some areas, the flight ability is really of no use. And while it does offer a course skip Power Badge, that won't net you any of the goodies in the level, which is the main point of Yoshi games anyway.

This mode for Star Fox is literally just "**** it: The Mode".
