Snorlax gets Submission as a TM, that's alright

I had been spoiled long ago and the E3 rrailer didn't help
But I watched the cutscene some days ago and damn...
Xander even drops his sword, something he would never do even in his "death"(he can only retreat in Conquest) animation
And then, he starts crying and at her last moments she just says
"Try to be at peace..."
She died because she couldn't see her favorite brothers(sorry Leo) fighting each other

This scene hits even harder if you know more about Xander
First, is that he has always detest killing and regrets doing so, he even started harbouring suicidal thoughts because of that
If he has these just from killing strangers, you have to wonder what he felt when he killed his sister
Then, there's Laslow and Peri who stay until the end with Xander despite his orders. You could have saved them if you killed Xander fast enough, you monster

I haven't played Conquest yet; Birthright is the only version I've played thus far. I'm going to start playing Conquest very soon though: Xander's death is what really made me look forward to playing that version: I will get to see how he bonds with Corrin as a family man.

But the one thing it proves to me is that

A rectangle formation always works. If you move units like that, you can have pretty solid defense and shots at beating the levels.

. . .Why would we get a secondary character for a semiobscure game over the protagonist of another semiobscure game?

This is the first game Xenoblade has gotten ANY characters, and it's not the most well known of series even if Project Rainfall gave it a decent spotlight.

At least Fire Emblem had it's foot in the door, even if Corrin was overload and everyone knows it.

Also,

Oh, the same old "muh 6 FE reps I hate FE now because Sakubias and anime swordsmen wah wah wah" stuff. Some people can't really let things go, can they? It's been 3 months.

I'll admit I'm wasn't too fond of the idea of having so many FE characters, but I don't think it's such a big deal as the game's quality hasn't diminished. The game isn't less fun because of the character's inclusion. In the end, I just stopped caring. I play as all characters somewhat regularly, so I easily get over such stuff.

Crossovers have always had odd character picks and Smash Bros. isn't, and has never been, a special snowflake.

Honestly, if Smash 64 came today with the same character roster, I bet people would rage about Captain Falcon and Ness for being nobodies from obscure games.

Oh, and people will rage at the idea of Corrin being cut in the next Smash in about a few years... When the dust settles. It happened with Wolf, after all.
