It certainly is something to make the game's scenarios more fun. So I don't really care for it much either way. Might play around with this in future runs on the other paths. Currently I am married to Felicia.

And as for the furrie part, well I sort of killed them all last Chapter.... Oh well this isn't revelations! I wanted their leader on my team though. I saw the kids can be married as well. That to a degree makes sense but is still wrong.

I ended up pairing Leo with Azura basically for "scraps" in Conquest because 2 more maps of enemies were 2 more maps of enemies.

And the wind isn't to bad.

It depends on the turn.

Like if I push the wind with dragon veins, it could work really well for me, or put me in a bad spot that causes me to lose.

But then the same thing can happen if I let the wind push me. I'll try more ways to win later.

I do like the concept of the stage though and the story for the level.

Sonic Generations, Smash 4, and Splatoon were probably the games I was most hyped about in the last 5 years. Despite a few problems, I'd say the met my expectations.

RelaxAlax did a Know Your Moves on Rosalina.

Unlike most YouTuber theories on Rosalina, I overall feel fairly satisfied with this. I do have some criticisms though, mainly:

-He glossed over her moveset inspirations, making her sound way more "made up" than she actually is. Mainly, I'm surprised he didn't even mention how her normals are inspired by dolphin tricks. What's interesting about this, is that it could be tied to how she was a Water element character (and later, Water/Light) in Puzzle & Dragons: SMB Edition. Also I don't understand why he thought to correlate her Down-B to Mario's spin since, while it could draw things in, it wasn't the primary use and wasn't used much. However, one of Rosalina's signature abilities is her gravitokinesis abilities, which seemed like the obvious inspiration for her Down-B, if you ask me. One of the Custom variants even draws in opponents, which could be a reference to how she could pull Mario back to the Observatory if he jumped off it. I always saw the cursor as just a visual easter egg, not as "she's using a variant the spin move from Galaxy". It's still clear this is Rosalina using the move, as the cursor appears to come from her wand in Smash.

-He glossed over the potential reasons for her inclusion (mainly, it seemed like he really didn't want to admit that she really was the most sensible choice for a Mario newcomer from a popularity and significance/relevance standpoint). I can't blame him for this one though since she's the ONE newcomer Sakurai hasn't made an official statement on regarding her inclusion, but it's pretty easy to piece together if you know the character, mainly the reasons why she is included in OTHER games, like 3D World (since her appearing as playable in 3D World was just as big a deal, if not more so, than her being playable in Smash).

-Some of his details on her lore and history and what not are a bit sketchy.

Overall, you can definitely feel this was rushed to squeeze everything into a roughly 10-minute window, but it's still nice and it has good comedy at least (it made me happy to hear him say "she's OP in Smash because she's OP in everything else", because that's so true, haha. Well I wouldn't call Rosalina or any character broken in Smash 4, but she definitely feels so powerful, and it shows in her performance).

I wouldn't use this video as some definitive source on Rosalina's inclusion in Smash or even on the character in general, but it serves as a good jumping off point for people to get interested in the character and maybe do some more thorough research themselves. Kinda like the equivalent to Wikipedia and DYKG.

I won't get annoyed at one's like this. Sure, it's far from perfect, but I understand that, A) pretty much nobody else is willing to do near as thorough research and analysis on this character as I do, and B) he had limited amount of time to fill in the video, and he does this as a hobby too.

I think the Down-B is most definitely inspired by Mario's Galaxy Spin. You can see the star cursor in the move.

STEAM's demo dissapointed me because turns took forever. Still have yet to try it after the fix because i dont feel like spending $40 and I currently have no way to order if a cheaper alternative exists (don't ask)

Haven't played Fates or Bravely Second. The localization is annoying but Im pretty sure they will both still be good.

Smash 4 heavily exceeded my expectations in roster and how fun it is. Single player is a bit dissapointing but oh well.

XCX. . .*sigh* XC is my 2nd favorite game of all time. XCX made so many decisions I don't agree with it isnt even funny. I really need to finish that review. . . Still a fun game and I enjoyed it. But damn it could have been SUCH a better game.


TLDR Video games are fun. Admittedly my expectations are always really really low anyway so this may not be fair.

Surprisingly, they didn't change that one line, so Azura and Corrin are still cousins in the western version.

Off the top of my head, Keaton, Jakob, and Niles are good ones.

Keaton's is the two of them bonding over common interests, Jakob surprisingly shows some empathy for Mozu's situation and you get some of backstory from him, and Niles helps her get back an important artifact from her doomed hometown. Keaton and Niles also like her for gameplay reasons, so it's a nice bonus.

I agree with most of what was said here, to add my two cents on a couple of these.

Adam: Ignoring my personal bias with the character (as to be honest, I felt he was horrible in Other M), I'll say that he has potential to be a candidate, but I'm not as sure on him. Like with Sylux, it seems like they're trying to give him more of a presence in Metroid's mythos and he has the potential to appear in future games via the AI, so he's one of Metroid's most notable characters and that could be what gets him into the game. However, his popularity did take a nosedive after Other M, and Sakamoto (who was behind the character) seems less enthused about going back to Metroid at this point in time, so they may not further expand on him past Other M, and that can hurt him. So I'm less sure on his future in the franchise then I am with Sylux, as he does have more of a chance for the franchise to move away from him and that can cause him to lose his only strong point over many other characters.

Ridley, Ridley, Ridley: I don't think any other character has caused so much debate as he did. I really love him as a character and I want to see him playable (in fact, he's probably still my most wanted), but I do agree that his potential playable comes down to the two things mentioned in the video: 1) Sakurai changes his mind, or 2) He gets a more "applicable" design for Smash (or a different director, but that's an entirely new set of variables to mess around with), and that's really about it for now. I do have to disagree with the point that "if he's smaller, he's may not be Ridley" as I don't think size was what made the character. It's as aspect that gives him his presence, but he has other traits that make him who he is (such as his intelligence and cruelty), and those traits can easily be maintained and expanded on regardless of his size. So if they make a Ridley that's smaller, but keeps those elements, then I don't see a problem with the difference in size.

A point I didn't bring up in the video was whether Adam would be confined as an AI for the time being; obviously an AI can't fight by itself and there's no in-universe reason why Adam would fight with an entire gunship in Smash, so that hurts as well unless they really wanted to go back to the OM design; or, in any other case, include him in another game in human form.

As for Ridley, it ridley comes down to whether he can ever fit Sakurai's vision at this point, so it's a huge wildcard. Though he's not appearing in Federation Force, so that's a big missed opportunity to try and size him down, to put it one way. Then again, Fed troopers fighting Ridley and winning would be a massive shark jump when only Samus can beat him(in canon works, anyway, barring the Metroid Queen).

So far I've done Corrin, Silas and Kaze's C-As for Mozu. For those 3, by what I've seen of their C-As, Corrin, Silas and Kaze's are pretty straightforward and basic, but they end pretty nicely and on a good note. I haven't seen their S-supports, but by what I've seen of their C-As, them falling in love with Mozu wouldn't feel like it just came out of nowhere, which is rather nice. I do think Corrin and Mozu's A support is rather heartwarming though.
That being said, Mozu is actually a rather good wife. Basically, she does not mess with Str or Mag, gives a point in Spd, Skl and Lck and her only con is -2 Res. Basically, you can give her to anybody, especially since she can pass Aptitude to her children. It's just there are better wives than her for different characters. Basically, she doesn't outclass wives for certain husbands, like Leo, Odin and Hayato still want Magic wives, but Mozu wouldn't hurt them if you gave her to them. Basically, she's one of the wives you give to your characters after you've decided on which wives you give to which father.

Xenoblade Chronicles X...surpassed my expectations, I knew basically nothing about the first game as I never even heard of it before Shulk was added to Smash...went into the game pretty much blind, all I knew was that it was basically an open-world RPG, I expected it to be average overall...it ended up being one of my favourite games I've played in recent years...and quite possibly one of my favourite games ever, now if I can only get my hands on the first game...

Splatoon...it ended being about as fun as I expected...the gyroscope takes some getting used to but its a good change of pace from other nintendo games...actually haven't played it in a while though

TPHD...Does this count? I mean I technically played it before...but its definitely an improvement from the original (and I do own the gamecube version)...I'm currently about to head into the water temple but I have a good enough gauge on the game to say that I am satisfied and that it does meet my expectations...I'm waiting until later to have a go at the Cave of Shadows though, so we'll see what that's really about later on...

Metroid: Zero Mission...I mean this isn't a new game but I never played it until very recently...ended up being an extraordinarily fun game! Loved the Zero Suit segment, both fun and frustrating and I actually hope we get more of it in the future (like this one not like Other M's pointless Zero suit segment), Acquiring my Power Suit again was one of the most satisfying moments I've ever had in gaming when you're basically rampaging against all the Space Pirates as payback for the headaches XD...Only real complaints I had...Ridley was too easy and the game was a bit short otherwise it's a solid title! Will play again...eventually...

Smash 4...I'm on the fence actually...The character line-up is alright in most areas (and amazing in others ), but the huge emphasis on mulitplayer is a really big let-down...no break the targets, no adventure mode, online only tournament mode, Smash tour sucks, classic mode on wii u is annoying, lack of decent boss fights (Master Core is really the only one as the others are jsut stage hazards)...but at the same time it's one of the best games in terms of mechanics; trumping was an amazing addition (considering I main Link, this was a huge addition) the removal of tripping, rage is actually a decent addition also, the game is also quite well balanced for having almost 60 characters as well...DLC...could've been better Cloud was awesome but not what came with him, and some character additions (or rejections) are questionable at best...

I'm so excited that I get to retire from Onlywatch and become a full fledged member of Overwatch.


Been excited for this game since its announcement. All of their announcements so far, from modes, to characters, to financial stuff, to balance, etc have only made me more excited.
