For the people that are saying this is "unbelievable," how about that MK8 DLC Pack 3?

Honestly, I wouldn't blame Sakurai for ending DLC at this point. I'm sure he wants to work on other projects, anyway.

Also, while I wish Bravely Second got a release date here, I think the fact it's at least coming out this spring is super encouraging. I'm a big enough fan of Bravely Default (well, the gameplay at least, not the story so much) to play through all of it twice, so Bravely Second is probably the game I'm looking forward to the most right now.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is the other one, though I agree with what @aldelaro5 has said about it still looking a bit generic. My hope is that it's a good M&L game with some Paper Mario elements sprinkled throughout.

Oh, but many people were opposed to Pac-Man even though they knew Namco-Bandai was involved...most of the support went to Tekken characters, Soul Calibur characters, Lloyd Irving, and KOS-MOS... and they claimed Pac-Man would have a generic and unimaginative moveset.

And?

Pac-Man was still the most commonly predicted character. What people want to happen =/= what people think will happen. Everywhere I looked, general consensus was "Pac-Man is probably going to happen but we don't want it to because we're afraid it'll be the crappy Ghostly Adventures version".

I never saw support for Tekken or Soul Calibur characters, by the way (sounds like hindsight bias caused by Sakurai saying that Heihachi was considered), and the support for KOS-MOS was so minor it was practically non-existent. The Namco-Bandai characters I saw get any kind of support was Lloyd Irving.

As for Villager, most people believed it would be Tom Nook or KK Slider or even Resetti. I personally believed they would pick the avatar protagonist (the human villager) though.

I saw more people predict Villager than K.K or Resetti.

Tom Nook was a popular pick, but to say Villager was unexpected is just not true.

No, and I doubt it's happening anyway. We were lucky enough to just get the Advent Children outfit.

I'm half and half with Paper Jam. While on one hand it does look like M&L featuring Paper Mario, I also know we haven't seen all of it yet. There could be more to it. I mean, I still see it being enjoyable. The M&L series is fun, and this will most likely be just as good, but I can see where people are coming from.

Lucas I don't believe so. The only exception was Mewtwo, but even then I could argue he was in his early stages.
