Why are you mad with salty people ?
A new character is announced, one who nobody expected, and have no Nintendo story.... and yet you don't want people to be salty ? It really was a Nintendo all-stars before today.Now it's a MUGEN.

I'm creating Harry Potter and Darth Vader character supporting threads, and what anyone can say about it ?
There's no criterion at all... Nothing can exclude a character chances now.DLC is all about money.

If you want Darth Vader, Harry Potter, Gandalf or Spider-man, come with me.

That's why I thought foir a second it was a trailer for an unannounced game.

My mind went from: New game -> Wolf -> HOLY ****

I'm not sure how I feel about Cloud 100%. I like that FF7 music is gonna be in because this is a dream for me. My problem is how Cloud's history with Nintendo affected his chances? It doesn't make sense to me and felt in some ways, it's a waste of a character slot for someone who deserves it far more

I swear to God, if I see Goku or Naruto in the remaining DLC, I'm done

Wow, that actually just slightly disappointed me. I was having so much fun speculating that I actually forgot that all of this DLC was going to end eventually...

Speaking of which, you could tell reggie was so hyped by cloud's announcement, look at his face and listen to him. He was so excited for it!

And Josh Thomas is acting terribly, he really should just stop, god help us if he's in the GX discussion about the direct...

Reading it again, it does kinda seem that way.

But the fact that it's the last presentation for it is pretty big regardless.

Yeah I do feel we're jumping the gun a little too quickly.

I wouldn't jump the gun yet, it could just be the last big smash presentation, but not the last of DLC overall. We just have to wait and see.

Yeah, if it IS the last major announcement, they'll probably just say "hey look at who we picked from the ballot" and then space the trailers out over time.

Definitely can't be the last time it shows up in a Direct.

Maybe 4 if we're lucky
But they betger end it with something big like Robin(technically) was for Smash speculation

I think this is it. Unless they do some more announcements at normal Directs.

Regardless, the fact they're saying it will be the last Smash-specific broadcast tells that DLC is nearing it's end.

Probably going to be big stuff, though. They likely will end this ride with a bang.

And well, I'll be off now. It's been a great night.

I'm just saying if Smash NX is a thing I hope the Nintendo Lords make sure it's on a handheld as well given the 'same architecture' thing they're doing with the console and handheld while being different in form-factor.

Despite Cloud's lack of relevance to Nintendo, I respect Sakurai's decision to add him based on his own merits. Would I have preferred a character from Final Fantasy I-VI such as Black Mage, Cecil, or Terra? Of course, but I'm not mad about it. I kind of want to witness a Cloud vs. Shulk battle, honestly.

I doubt that. Maybe in terms of Directs for Smash 4, but in terms of news and announcements for it specifically, I doubt that.

You know what, I'm not a Final Fantasy fan, and Cloud is not even my first choice from the series, but I'm not even mad. In fact I'm congratulating people that wanted him and he looks great.

I really hope an awesome arrangement of One Winged Angel is on his stage.
