So now the real question is will this new region have more or less water than Hoenn?
If it has even more water, I won't even be mad.
I've played enough games to know to shell out for the Max Repels if you just want to wander around without catching anything, be it in grass, caves, OR on the water.
Heck, if this means more Dive areas than Hoenn, I
embrace it. Just make the underwater areas a little more scenic and varied (and Hawaii has coral reefs, so totally doable), and I will be A-OK with all of it. Well, and a few more Dive Pokémon models certainly wouldn't hurt to throw in there. . . :3
People complained about Hoenn too much though so I'm scared we might be stuck with just a bunch of bridges and no Surf/Dive zones around them.
