I believe they'd go with Mario. Just think about it. What could go wrong with a Mario movie. It's just bound to be a success. Really. I'm not even kidding. What would make you think a Mario movie would be something else than awesome?A Nintendo cinematic universe?that could be really awesome. My question is who is just be first party franchises or would they include 2nd party franchise.Because you know having a Nintendo cinematic universe without Pokemon would be extremely stupid
I feel like this is bait towardsFirst we get rumors about FF7 and FF15 on the NX.
Now we get rumors about Nintendo and Disney teaming up for movie projects.
This can only mean one thing guys.......
A cinematic universe. like the marvel movies.Marvel has more than just iron man so its safe to assume a Nintendo cinematic universe would be more than just Mario rightI believe they'd go with Mario. Well Jynx has to keep up with the times in order to avoid any further controversy like the last time. Those years were truly a mess for Game Freak and Nintendo. There was a problem fetching the tweet
Not much to say here.
Actually, I think GF just put as little work into RBY as possible. They added wireless link cables and connection to Pokebank, but beyond that it doesnt seem like they did anything else to change or fix the game itself. So there's one thing I need from Sun &Moon.
Missingno as a full Pokemon with a Pokedex number. Obviously they've recognized how iconic he is, seeing as he hasn't been removed from VC R/B/Y, and I don't see why he couldn't be an official Pokemon.
Just think about it; you have an extremely low chance of encountering him ANYWHERE, and he's the "Glitch Pokemon", description being "This Pokemon doesn't exist. Or, it shouldn't."
It really shouldn't be a challenge for them. IT was probably kept for nostalgia purposes.Actually, I think GF just put as little work into RBY as possible. About that Tecmo Bowl part, it already happened. Though they were a bit modernized to fit in with the style of 2000's cheerleaders as opposed to the original 80's design.
But that image is a great example of what's been happening with the Warriors games hallway through the PS2 era. They didn't even try to hide that they were made with fanservice in mind for some official art (Liangshi anyone?). At least Capcom and Namco aren't as blatant with their big titles lately (Tekken or Street Fighter).
Funny thing, all of this was happening when Iktagi was heading out the door.More Dyanasty Warrior rants? Better share something worth while.
This is a perfect example of how far the series had evolved in terms of sexiness. Take Diaochan for example on how sexualized her attire and legs had gotten over the years. This is also the case for several other characters like Laingshi and the like. Even a certain character we mentioned yesterday being around since the dawn of when this trend happened. Not like I'm being a nagging mother or anything, but merely stating the one thing Tecmo is guilty of with their IP's. At least Tecmo Bowl was safe from this method.
I've been behind in terms of Digimon, though I know one perfect example that fits the bill of Modern Digimon gone sexy. Lilithmon. There's also Rosemon and the others, but I haven't watched much of Tamers.Funny thing, all of this was happening when Iktagi was heading out the door.
And Namco reached this route but they are massively tamed compared how over the top Tecmo are.
Soul Calibur has this route with Ivy and other female characters with the exception of Cassandra, Talim and Phyrra. God Eater, Tekken (in small cases) and m8 have you seen the crazy Digimon designs post 2004. @Digital Hazard and @Burning Mandala knows what I'm talking about.
Capcom is even good at it. It's just that their designs are so incredible that it don't even get to that point. Except for Modern SF.
Now Sega and Square Enix. Them mother****ers have zero tact at all. And they just don't give a damn.
And is tamed compared to the others. Also nobody cares about Tecmo Bowl until the Super comes back in the title and that won't happen until EA stops being punks
Yeah but how bad is the butt design and I would post those Digimon designs like the next evolution of Rosemon, the crazy stuff with Kazumon and I still can't get over Lady Devimon's design.

Capcom does do it right though. The ladies of Devil May Cry look too cool to be as over the top as the Dead or Alive cast. The only Mega Man character I remember looking sexualized was Layer and she's the robotic equivalent of a human woman wearing a short shirt with underboob while working as a navigator (Zero is one lucky Reploid). Though you do have a point about modern Street Fighter when characters like Juri Han exist and we have Ms. Wrestling Butt Slap in SFV's roster.
And I almost forgot, Cassandra has a butt smash for a Critical Finish. A freaking butt smash!
Now you know my feelings when I first played Megaman Battle Network as a kid and no one to talk to about it. Atleast with YGO, it was crazy popular and caught onTo me Digimon was always that seires that made me an outcast. I got into Pokemon along with my friends but they moved on to Digimon almost overnight and would do nothing but talk about it and only it all day.
Then Pokemon Gold came out and it was back in my favour and then Yu-gi-oh put me back into outcast and I've been there ever since.
Pokémon will most definitely get something, especially since the Pokémon Company has been showing an amazing understanding of how to make Pokémon appeal to the mainstream nowadays. On one hand, I want to be cautious and say it could just be Wreck-It-Ralph 2.
On the other hand, if this pans out, it's going to make the Nintendo section of Universal kind of hilarious. Granted, it's not as funny as Disney flat out buying out a set of properties that already had a section there and I'm pretty sure still do, but yeaaah hahah.
Although I am curious as to where they would go once they started with the two "main" first party IPs.
Kirby has a history of staying afloat against the odds despite being horribly overshadowed, but everything else is just so conspicuously towered over that I fear that anything less popular would get ignored. Heck, even Kirby I don't have the brightest of hopes for. It's always Mario, Mario, Zelda, Mario. It's my same fear as with the Universal park, TBH.
One thing here bothers meNot sure if I should say this in the middle of this Pokemon hype, as I might get lynched, but I am actually happy that Gen 1 games weren't part of my childhood. Because I think that they are just terribly outdated. The graphics are just not that good, there isn't that much of content, and there is a lot of errors. I prefer the remakes. Also, 10€ is a bit too much from them.
Then again, my opinion might be different if I had played the 10 years ago. I might also be too young to understand true nostalgia. However, I am not saying that you should not enjoy them. Go forth and relive your childhood, if you want. How could I stop you? I just felt like saying my opinion.
There are many people who find nostalgia in different things, hell, Hoenn and even Sinnoh are nostalgic to me. 'true nostalgia' would be if you played a game you REALLY liked as a kid, to the point you don't care if you see flaws, you loved it then, you still love it now.I might also be too young to understand true nostalgia
Except for the fact focus energy actually lowers crit rateNot sure if I should say this in the middle of this Pokemon hype, as I might get lynched, but I am actually happy that Gen 1 games weren't part of my childhood. Swords dance boosting Attack even more when burned, critical hits doing less damage if you've got attack boosts, Psychics being immune to Ghost, etcExcept for the fact focus energy actually lowers crit rate
What other error are people playing going to run into without specifically looking for it
To be fair, Lilithmon and Rosemon have existed for years, the issue is with how they (and most other female Digimon) are being treated lately as before their appearances weren't just for cheap fanservice. With Lilithmon in particular, she's supposed to be more like Lust from FMA and use it as a manipulation, but with the cards, they played up her attractiveness over that personality trait.
I've been behind in terms of Digimon, though I know one perfect example that fits the bill of Modern Digimon gone sexy. Lilithmon. There's also Rosemon and the others, but I haven't watched much of Tamers.
Psychic types not being weak to Ghost types is another potential one.Except for the fact focus energy actually lowers crit rate

Give me my Mega Haxorus with an added Steel type and GIVE HIM IRON HEAD DAMNIT!Also, I want to rant about Gen V Megas again. Hydriegon should have gotten one. It's initial design would be perfect as a mega! It was originally a Steel/Dragon which looked like a tank iirc. That's literally a perfect design for Mega Hydriegon!
I swear I've hit Alakazam with Night Shade before.Swords dance boosting Attack even more when burned, critical hits doing less damage if you've got attack boosts, Psychics being immune to Ghost, etc
I thought that move debuted in Gen III swear I've hit Alakazam with Nightmare before.
