Gen 2
* Day Night Cycle affected Pokemon rarity
* Weekday events
* Previous region (understandable given how they had to trim Kanto down to fit)
* A rival that makes you want to beat him and his stupid face

Gen 3
* The original Contest format (Only one I got in to)
* Surf that doesn't hurt ally in double battle (only other one I could think of)

Gen 4
* Customizable Pokeball effects
* Pokeathelon
* Game corner (curse you European gambling laws)

Gen 5
* Gym leaders that actually do things outside of Gym Leader-ing
* Seasons
* Actual character development for Rivals

Did you forget Follower Pokémon or just have a reason for not liking it?

I admit the way it was handled wasn't perfect, but I would still love the option.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon? I'll go on Radial Blind from the internet until I see the Direct for myself. Sun and Moon make sense as titles. We'll have to wait and see.

Strider uses Dig to go back to Pokemon Y and try to beat it before the direct. If I beat White 2 the day before the launch of X and Y, then I'm going to give it my all in these final battles!

Somewhat inspired by a tiny bit of one Pokémon hack I saw, but only loosely.

Basically, instead of seemingly being in person or directly conversing with the Professor, you could be filing an online application for a Trainer License. Picking your skin, eye, and hair color is also pretty standard stuff when filling out a form about yourself. The bits with the Professor at the beginning and end could be recorded briefings on the basics of being a Trainer that everyone filling out the form would have to watch.

This be neat! It could add a new sense of maturity to the franchise and work as a nice change. In all honestly you should be filling out licenses, because they make kids go to trainer schools, so why not make it a test they pass to be a trainer, and then they fill this application out and apply to become a trainer.

See the thing there is, they just make logos and names overnight. It's not like they would be going into this presentation with little knowledge on what the game would be like. This name had to be decided within the last month, if not earlier. Even then, it still leaves the leak in a worse position imo. Because if the leaker was truly right, they would know this. And again, the one thing people don't seem to get, is that the games should be way past the codename phase yet everyone was codenamed, which makes me doubt it more.

It's still possible, but I can't bring myself to believe it.

Also doesn't the leak say that it's a minecraft X Nintendo thing?


With him saying: "I don't know if this is a separate game, or an update" Which goes back to my point, of the leaker leaving way to many outs for himself. Also this update would still need to be a massive Nintendo content one, which if it's not, hurts the leak, unless we see a separate game for Minecraft X Nintendo.

Also, I hope you don't take offense to this, but I honestly think "verified" sources should be take with a grain of Salt.

Between Shovel Knight, Additional Wii U characters, Inklings, and more, I think we should realize, that sources that are trustworthy are not always right.

Either way as I said earlier I don't buy it, even if everything on the list "came true", it's to generic and predictable imo, and has a lot of inconsistencies. It could still be right, or it could be wrong. I think it shouldn't be held onto so firmly though.

The supposed leaker works in marketing so they would only know the budget. This is why the codename doesn't kill that leak. People in finance were probably told a codename as the developers were probably trying to keep it a secret.
