: I expect Galaxy 3 to be at least announced next year. If not, the first game in a Rosalina spin-off franchise that serves as a successor to Galaxy. It's both their 10th anniversaries next year, and a Rosalina spin-off feels long overdue. If not any of that then expect Rosalina to receive top billing in some way next year (hopefully lots of merchandise), since Koizumi is the franchise producer right now and he created her, and EAD loves her, so her 10th anniversary should be a big deal and I have no doubt they really want to celebrate it. Aside from that stuff, Strikers 3 and a Paper Mario game. And some more amiibo (screw the rules :V).

: An ambitious new main series game. Sonic Boom Season 2. And more memes from our memelord and saviour Aaron Webber. And Big's Big Fishing Adventure 3.

Rosalina is also easily convertible to an anime style (though she basically already is, especially in Smash) due to her huge stature and beautiful, voluptuous, yet strong physic, if that's a factor.

A Mario game with environments similar to the ones found in the Mario kart games, but explorable in a platform game.
Another 3D game like Donkey Kong 64 as well as bringing back some of the missing Kongs such as Lankey, Chunky, Tiny etc.
A sequel and prequel to Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks that involves Link and Tetra finding the new Hyrule would be great. Or a remake for Link's Awakening or Minish Cap would be neat...
A new game in general would be awesome. I know you dislike doing sequels but please Sakurai....

- given a playable role and the player then gets to choose between Link's or Zelda's path...Link's path is the more traditional Zelda route but with stronger enemies, Zelda's route has tougher puzzles...could be split titles like for Pokemon or the Oracle games and they could be called Path of Courage and Path of Wisdom or something...each dungeon is very different from the other version perhaps literally taking different paths...ex. Link traverse a Desert dungeon, while Zelda goes through an Oasis Temple in the same said desert...
-Midna returns eventually...

-FFVII Remake comes to the NX, as well as FFXV and other future FF titles...

A) Because it's the 10th anniversary of the original next year and it's the best-selling 3D Mario and one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.

B) Miyamoto has teased it by name numerous times so it's a matter of "when", not "if".

C) You can't get any more innovative or larger scale than the entire cosmos. There are limitless level possibilities with that, and they can completely revolutinse the level design to be more open on more powerful hardware. Going with any other smaller scale setting is settling for less ambition.

Like I said though, just giving Rosalina a franchise that succeeds the Galaxy games works fine too. Then they can do whatever with Mario then, likely expanding on the 3D World concepts by making more open and focused levels.

I still hate the placement of Lucina/Pittoo/Alph. Please fix. No new Metroid is sad and I'm certain you can find a better choice than Tingle...

And I'll always complain about the Bunny & Geno but you can keep if you really want....

Given how the franchise has handled the third versions in the past, Z is practically confirmed to be a rehash. Unless it went down the B2/W2 path which I doubt would happen.


What's wrong with wishing for what I find the best path for the franchise?

You mean the DEATH of what can be done in future sequels thanks to the reboot by a legend?
