I'd be upset.

I feel like it wouldn't be fair to bring one back over the other. Both are equally unique and feel complete with each other. With Charziard it made sense as he was the most popular. However I still wanted them back, the trio would be complete and feel great again imo.

So I think that if squirlte comes back, Ivysaur should as well. It's a package deal imo.

Something about this seems ironic... But I can't put my finger on what it is...

Not today.

A) Because it's the 10th anniversary of the original next year and it's the best-selling 3D Mario and one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.

B) Miyamoto has teased it by name numerous times so it's a matter of "when", not "if".

C) You can't get any more innovative or larger scale than the entire cosmos. There are limitless level possibilities with that, and they can completely revolutinse the level design to be more open on more powerful hardware. Going with any other smaller scale setting is settling for less ambition.

Like I said though, just giving Rosalina a franchise that succeeds the Galaxy games works fine too. Then they can do whatever with Mario then, likely expanding on the 3D World concepts by making more open and focused levels.

Dont see me as a hater of another galaxy game.It could happen and could be fun.But i would much rather us see something new than rely on old ideas.Mario is one of those characters who rarely has a bad game and is known for branching out i dont see why he has to stay with one gameplay formula

I find the perception of mario game sequels weird.

For nearly all series people just want sequels. They really dont care about anything about the game as long as the game is good.

Mario (and i suppose COD) seems to be the exception. I cant think of many other series other than mario where people DONT want sequels and evolutions of old ideas.

Maybe the delay actually helped?

They may even have taken notes from the tv show to write scripts. After all, they learned sonic doesn't need to be serious and edgy to be liked. They see this from their twitter as well. Making the game funny could probably work in the long run.

Either way, I won't judge it till it's out. Still excited for season 2!

A) ...And it's up to those companies to make one. That has nothing to do with why people want Galaxy 3. People want in next year more than ever because the timing is really perfect. Other games not getting a sequel in the same time is completely unrelated.

B) No, in the same interview Miyamoto revealed Pikmin 4, he said they're already conceptualising Galaxy 3. It's a matter of when, unless they have changed it into a Rosalina game or something.

C) The Galaxy games ARE set in the universe at large (the word "cosmos" literally means "the universe viewed as a well unified whole"). Each level is a galaxy, in a huge universe that they can keep expanding.

Boom isn't replacing Modern Sonic if that's what you're trying to imply. Iizuka confirmed this very recently (and it wasn't the first time).

Boom is just a spin-off series for a younger demographic, made by Western creators.

I made predictions for newcomers for the next Smash several years too early, and I don't care. Pokeball and Monado are new characters from a future Pokemon and Xenoblade game we have yet to see. "New" is a character from a brand new series we have yet to see.

Anything will be fine as long as you lose the habit to rehash the worst characters from Awakening into every new game; from there, a remake of a previous title (without Pair Up, duh. I like it but the original titles don't need to be whoring themselves out to that feature) or a totally new game will be great either way. Crossing fingers for an FE U announcement at this year's E3.

Pikmin 4'd better rock our worlds.

I meant alongside the modern sonic games. With boom almost a second pillar.

This way Sega has two different modern sonics that appeal to the old and new. Not a bad strategy imo.

I don't know about everyone else, but I used the Lucario quite a bit throughout my Y playthrough. Lucario's just a good Pokemon to have in general.
