Hey, if I'm going to talk about something I would normally be cynical about, I'm at least going to have fun.
Let's not erupt into civil war here even with the subject matter. That's Captain America's job.
My dear red
iron marsupial, in a community where people are petty enough to wish death upon others, write extremely long walls of salt talking about why the next character(s) and/or Sakurai is/are a disgrace, or say that we should boycott DLC due to one character not making it, sarcasm at said community's actions is near the bottom of the offenses chain. A lighter shade of black, if you will, because there's no denying it's a jab.
Tons of subjects in this community ridley tick me off to no end, enough to write entire, vile walls of text as to why I do. And I have, just not here. And trust me: you're not the only one to try and tell me I'm putting myself above the rest.
*SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH THIS IS MY OPINION: DON'T GET YOUR SQUIDS IN A TWIST*
I recognize the presence of rational minds here and wholeheartedly respect them. It's mainly the irrational minds that get to me. Even friends of mine have gone irrational at times and I similarly call them out. Surprisingly enough, I consider the shoo-in mentality and anyone following it to be silly regardless of the circumstance(even I have to stop myself at times, so I'm not immune to this). If a foreign opinion offends you, it's also remarkably easy to ignore it. Scroll down, pretend it isn't there. Along with your everyday posting, if you will. Happens to me a lot, and it works.
Now, regarding you specifically(because why else would you quote me if you weren't among the individuals), I still have my respect for you, mister possum. Calling out one aspect of a thought process really won't change that. If you are truly 200% mad? My apologies, since I know you are a level-headed person.
To wrap up, the shoo-in is an opinion I personally dislike, but at the end of the day, I still deal with. Done so for a long time now.
Doesn't mean I have to like it, or that I won't call it out. A begrudging acceptance, if you will.
