Your avatar doesn't help support this.Blue is better than Red.
Yeah, I said it.
But does it really matter, when Green is better than both?Blue is better than Red.
Yeah, I said it.
Unless you're a giant baby who likes playing Easy mode. But does it really matter, when Green is better than both?
But here's the thing, Black didn't come out until another 15 years.Your avatar doesn't help support this.
Nor does his username for that matter.Your avatar doesn't help support this.
Leafgreen has Venasaur on the cover.Leaf Green is better than Blue.
Yeah if you like your Pokemon all deformed and weird. But does it really matter, when Green is better than both?
Maybe if you didn't have a childhood.Leaf Green is better than Blue.
Well that's not hard.Leaf Green is better than Blue.
We aren't friends anymoreRed>Blue,Silver>Gold,Ruby>Sapphire,Black>White
Indeed, I do realize that. You do realize we're only in February?
I'm not saying Nintendo will do anything, but maybe we should wait for a good amount of time before we start jumping to conclusions.
After all, there hasn't even been a Direct this year.
im sorry it has to end this wayWe aren't friends anymore
They mentioned in the latest Direct that TP HD and Zelda U were to be released this year in order to celebrate the anniversary and to "live up to thirty years of Zelda goodness".Indeed, I do realize that.
What I also realize is that The Legend of Zelda released in Japan on February 21st, 1986.
There's no way there will be a Direct that day (it's a Sunday this year) and there's also no games releasing until two weeks after. Nintendo has barely made any mention, aside from the Symphony of the Goddess concerts, that this year is Zelda's 30th. And Zelda deserves much better than that.
I mean, it's already bad enough that there were no Zelda newcomers in Smash...
Either he didn't get it or chose not to respond to the obvious joke. XDNor does his username for that matter.
I knew a kid back in Middle school who's name was ChampionEither he didn't get it or chose not to respond to the obvious joke. XD
Also, saw Goosebumps yesterday. One of the characters' real name is Champion. XD
No you're not. No same man would pick Silver over Gold.im sorry it has to end this way
Then why did blue sell more?Pokemon Red is the best btw.
Most prolific Pokemon title, only one to be released in three different incarnations, name synonymous with the OG protagonist and most powerful trainer in the series, its mascot Pokemon is the most popular starter of all the starters, plus Arcanine, Scyther, and Electabuzz exclusivity (at least compared to Blue/Green).
Sorry hipsters, I know it's super uncool to favour the one that is favoured.
I do suspect the one that was part of the first wave in both Japan and the west sold better, but please provide your figures, I couldn't find the individual breakdown and I genuinely want to see them. Then why did blue sell more?
Because it's better
Honestly, the only thing Blue has that helps is Meowth just cause of Pay Day. Going through the Elite 4 to get money constantly is a pain. Red is blatantly the more popular game due to being based upon the more notable protagonist. Otherwise, it's up to the exclusive selection(ignoring Meowth) at best. Both games are exactly the same otherwise.Pokemon Red is the best btw.

I think it was a jwittz video.I do suspect the one that was part of the first wave in both Japan and the west sold better, but please provide your figures, I couldn't find the individual breakdown and I genuinely want to see them.
Fair enough, but do you honestly think sales is the defining facet in measuring a game's quality?I think it was a jwittz video.
I'll look it up when I'm home
70% the coverFair enough, but do you honestly think sales is the defining facet in measuring a game's quality?
Or do you just want to support Blue because of its mascot... who is also obtainable in Red...
I'm considering buying the N3DS Red & Blue edition and I wouldn't mind playing it for nostalgia sake but even then I'm just gonna wait where at the end of the year when thy drop Gold/Silver/Crystal on the eShop.I was actually considering buying Pokemon Blue off eShop.
But then I remembered Gen 1 is incredibly jank so I might just replay the hack Pokemon Brown instead.
Heart Gold and Soul Silver was such a better version though. I dunno if I could go back to regular gold and silverI'm considering buying the N3DS Red & Blue edition and I wouldn't mind playing it for nostalgia sake but even then I'm just gonna wait where at the end of the year when thy drop Gold/Silver/Crystal on the eShop.
Now that's the ONLY pre-Gen 3 game I'll go back to
Same here, I legitimately can still enjoy Gen 2 even if it's also jank in some areas.I'm considering buying the N3DS Red & Blue edition and I wouldn't mind playing it for nostalgia sake but even then I'm just gonna wait where at the end of the year when thy drop Gold/Silver/Crystal on the eShop.

Getting all the TM's is even harder in HG/SS due to the new mini-game in the Casinos. It's a very slow game, and you can't buy coins at all. It is better in some ways, but that's not one of them.Heart Gold and Soul Silver was such a better version though. I dunno if I could go back to regular gold and silver
They are one of the best games in the series, regardless of being remakes
I love that mini game, actuallyGetting all the TM's is even harder in HG/SS due to the new mini-game in the Casinos. It's a very slow game, and you can't buy coins at all. It is better in some ways, but that's not one of them.
That isn't the point. It's too easy to lose. It takes way too long to get enough for a single TM.I love that mini game, actually
When I lost internet for about a week I was so bored that I got a Porygon off of Voltorb Flip. That isn't the point. It's too easy to lose. It takes way too long to get enough for a single TM.
It's more interactive than the old one, but still has issues. As long as you can't buy coins, it becomes a very tedious grind instead. It's poor design.
