I think it was because I played Awakening and not Fates. It's important to note that this is several months after the release of the game. I doubt they will give discounts for new games.

Zedd is... not that much like Vader. Bar the breathing thing sometimes. I mean, sure they're both hammy as hell, but one is actually truly evil(with some standards, which yes, that means they aren't truly pure evil. I mean, he loves Rita legitimately after all), while the other was corrupted.
Rita is actually a mother in canon, so... I'm not sure she's much of a granny. At least not literally. She's actually pretty young-looking overall. More middle age at best.

Remember how I made a post before about how "pixels" seem to be a recurring symbol with the 25th Anniversary material?
Well...there it is again...another reference to pixels.
It has to mean something at this point, there is no way that was an accident.

Just because it's never happened before doesn't mean it won't though. GameFreak have been taking risks recently, and I think a Gen 6.2 with new Pokemon would be a great way to get people more interested in Z.
Or it's Gen 7. But then they've never skipped the sequel of a Gen before either.

Could be a Gen 7 mon getting an early reveal.
It's happened before, notably with Bonsly debuting in a Gen 3 game (Pokemon XD) or the Lucario movie being before Gen 4 properly premiered.
