I'm skeptical on this, but if it is true, it could be good or bad...
Delaying it may make it better in the end, but it could also become worse. Plus delaying it leads to less people being interested in it.
Either way,, I hope for the best, as I would like for Star Fox to succeed.

For example,

>Since he's a Hiker, he only goes to mountains so you only have access to a few Pokemon

I think that this could make for an interesting spinoff.

Kumatora is a mage who is ready to slap, punch, and kick you senseless to the rhythm of the music just as well as she can nuke you with magic.
Not to mention at some point in Mother 3 she had to do the butt dance.

In mother 3, a particular door tied to Castle Osohe has to be opened with a particularly goofy dance because it makes the ancient door laugh.
The only time this is truly seen in game is by Duster's Grandfather Wes.
The situations of the story basically say that Kumatora had to do it herself to get past the door.

In Chapter 2 when you are playing as Duster, as you are exploring a castle, there is a door that requires a specific dance to open and Wes, his father/grandfather(can't remember which) knows what the dance is to open the door, but he has Duster turn around as he doesn't want Duster seeing him dance. Basically, he does "that dance in the video" to open the door. After passing the door, Duster and Wes eventually meet Kumatora. Basically, it's implied that just like Wes, she had to do the dance in order to open the door.

I would so be a Team Rocket Grunt if you can. Pokemon Company isn't that awesome though, so I doubt they'll let you be a Grunt or work your way into the ranks in an evil organization. Closest thing we have would be Wes from Colosseum, as he's an ex-criminal.

More realistically, I would love to see a snowboarder trainer class. The trainer would specialize in Ice types (Game Freak would also buff Ice in this game) and the game is basically SSX Tricky but with Pokemon. Players would also need to survive the bitter cold during certain missions. You can build like an igloo to keep you warm and then epic Pokemon bonding time like in that episode where Ash is stuck in a blizzard and builds a snow fort thingy, but only to have his Pokemon pop out and keep him warm.

And then everyone drowns in feels. Anyway, I'd totally buy such spin-off.

I think it could work. I don't know if it'd ever come into being, but I'd try it.

If you played as the janitor in the pokemon games

Having to work 9-5 cleaning up messes but occasionally trying to fight in pokemon battles with upcoming fighters half your age.

The only time you have to train your pokemon is after work, but your having relationship problems with your wife constantly yelling at you because your spending too much time with your pokemon.

And at work your co workers treat you either poorly or with pity because they see you as of lesser value than them

Every time someone beats you in battle you loose half your money. Because of this you lose your house and your wife leaves you with your children

You end up having to pay child support

Playing as a lesser character in pokemon is a really fun idea

Afaik, both Shulk and Palutena have the same counter multiplier as Corrin, it's just that his sends you straight up and has higher knockback, which means earlier KOs.
