• If it's revealed this month, a June release is plausible (happened with Pokemon Black2/White2 in Japan)

If Alex is the first character, I will be the first to say I called it.
Being saying from the beginning he would be effectively a launch character as he would be the first DLC character, launching almost right after the game.

I would so be a Team Rocket Grunt if you can. Pokemon Company isn't that awesome though, so I doubt they'll let you be a Grunt or work your way into the ranks in an evil organization. Closest thing we have would be Wes from Colosseum, as he's an ex-criminal.

More realistically, I would love to see a snowboarder trainer class. The trainer would specialize in Ice types (Game Freak would also buff Ice in this game) and the game is basically SSX Tricky but with Pokemon. Players would also need to survive the bitter cold during certain missions. You can build like an igloo to keep you warm and then epic Pokemon bonding time like in that episode where Ash is stuck in a blizzard and builds a snow fort thingy, but only to have his Pokemon pop out and keep him warm.

And then everyone drowns in feels. Anyway, I'd totally buy such spin-off.

Nah Kamiya is working on Scalebound at the moment, which got delayed to next year. Hashimoto (director of Bayonetta 2) is the one working on Starfox under Shiggy's (ew) command.
