I get that Suzy is Monster's Kid sister, perhaps she was the one responsible for Gaster's disappearance. Maybe Chara used Suzy to get her to accidentally erase Gaster's existence, being of Chara's plan to destroy humanity and monsters. Perhaps it was something Gaster created that would stop or help Chara's plan, I'm not so certain.

Could you specify further as to why?

But what from I can gather... especially with Gaster...

It's cool and surprising that a lot of you included Bandana Waddle Dee in your rosters.
I honestly don't know if he is that likely considering Sakurai didn't even add a trophy of him in Smash 4.

At this point, I just hope he did well in the ballot and that he appears in the next Kirby game with a new ability or something.

I would like to know PushDustIn 's (or Source Gaming's) opinion about him and also, do you really think the Smash Wii U port will have more characters? (if the rumour is true).
A lot of people are confident that will happen, expecting Ice Climbers, Wolf or even newcomers, but I'm honestly not expecting that.
I would like to know about other fighting games ports, some of them include new characters, I think, like SF4 that included Poison, Hugo and others (I'm not sure about this). Do you know ports that include new fighters?

I think Dr. Toto's rumor is right. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to troll, and he could reasonably gain access to this information.

If it's a straight port, I think new content is a coin toss. I could see Sakurai just overseeing the direct port as the NX is rumored to be both a handheld and a home console. Therefore, it could literally be the 3DS and Wii U together on one disc or whatever.

The reason is because Sakurai has said his next JOB had been decided. He's always referred to Smash for Wii U and 3DS as a project. So we might be getting a straight port.

It really depends on when the NX is released. If it's this November, then I think the likelihood of additional content outside of the port is decreased.

I was going to mention this theory in the Gamexplain discussion but they ended up having it 4AM my time. So, I'll finish the article (which Ive been working on for almost a month) sometime for next week (Titled Case for Smash NX).

Lemme give you the bullet points.
1) He's adorable.
2) He's the 4th major Kirby character. In a series where very few characters lasts for more than a game or two, he's had SSU, RtDL, TD, and Rainbow Curse in some significant role. He is a staple at this point. The Club Nintendo pin FOR the 20 Year Kirby Anniversary had him with Kirby, Meta Knight, and Dedede
3) The Spear is a weapon type Smash.. just hasn't touched. The closest being Marth's tipper and Corrin's side B & Smash. The Spear ability itself giving a damn good basis for a moveset.
4) He is a VERY high request character in Japan. Granted we don't know how accurate our measurements can truly be called but he was the #2 newcomer in SourceGaming's DLC pool. Just after K. Rool.

He's become a very popular staple to Kirby without missing a game since his introduction in SSU with a weapon type and ability that gives him a good starting off point as a fighter.

I think he would be the best choice for a Kirby rep for a number of reasons:

-He's technically been a reoccurring character since Kirby and the Crystal Shards and has stayed relevant since then.
-He's been playable in several Kirby games.
-His moveset pretty much writes itself.
-He's a spear user, something Smash Bros doesn't have yet.

As far as potential newcomers for future Smash games go, I think he'd be a very easy fit.

Honestly.
This could very much just be bias for the character.
But Bandana Dee seems like a bit of a blend behind the cases around and Captain Toad.

With Captain Toad, the similarities are a bit more obvious.
A "Promoted Grunt" of sorts that has been showing up more and more in sizable roles from their Wii usage.
Kinda an extention of a "one-off protagonist" nameless incarnation of the race from far earlier in the series' history.

And with Rosalina...
Both started off in "supportive" roles but since have been pushed into a staple as part of the core cast.
Both were/are the most popular character of their series to not yet be in Smash.
Both are adorable

Iunno.
While certainly he's been a "Dark horse" of candidates on this site I've had my support and faith behind Bandana Dee because he's got that kind of Rising Star quality to him and in a significant enough way for his series that it really seemed right.

I'll be quiet about it. Just... felt like sharing. Still my #3 want for Smash 5/NX.

I honestly will never understand the people who want character like Marx or Adeleine, they are one-off characters, Adeleine is super unimportant (she is like the Geno of Kirby for me, popular for some random reason), ... and Marx doesn't even have arms or abilities, the boss form as playable would be ridiculous.

A character like Magolor would be a better choice than Marx, because they are similar, but Magolor can fight in his basic form, appears in more than one game with an important role, is more recent and more requested for Smash. But yeah, not before Bandana Dee.

Take him out of any game he's been in and it's pretty much the same game
