Another issue, probably linked to that issue with the page root. When people post here, I get a number added to the flag on the notification box. But no new notification.

I'm just noting these since it seems to be effecting this thread, and those of us not in the character support group, so it's just so people are informed. It's looking like some of us will have to manually make our way to this thread for the time being.

Fiora will definitely miss the next smash. As much as I love XC's characters they will slowly fall out of relevance. By the time smash 5 rolls around XC will not be a big deal at all anymore. And even then it makes more sense to go with Elma over her.

Not the first time we went with 2 main characters from different games over side characters from the same game. (Lucina, being a clone, obviously doesn't count)

OK so for some reason, my latest listed alert (for people liking a post of mine), can have new people added to it, I just can't get brand new alerts.

It's so engaging to see how many problems one, small programming error (in this case, likely a direct/indirect result of the hacking) can cause.

It's weird because when I checked, I couldn't find the thread itself in that group. I've been accessing it manually through Nintenzone (from the home page I click on Forum, then Nintenzone, then the thread).

It's just that the site listed the thread as being rooted there even though it seemingly wasn't there at all.

I wouldn't know exactly why this happened though. I can only imagine it had something to do with the back-up/restore process for the site (which I think uses CloudFare, not too sure though) being slightly out of date or imperfect or something.

As far as I know this is the only major hack that has happened to the site though, so it's not surprising it would take some time to recover. There's a first time for everything I guess.

Anyway, the site seems fixed completely now.

A) Ashley isn't bound to just being on one stage.
B) She gets an actual trophy in both versions of the game.
C) They were saving the best for last. Ashley, Tails, and Knuckles all together. Viridi just gets slapped together with Toad.
D) Not to mention Nintendo actually likes using Ashley for promotional material.
Most importantly
E) She actually has a fanbase.

Eh, I say why not both.
I feel like bringing in Fiora and Elma would be a good way to show to very similar concepts executed entirely differently.
And both are very popular characters from their respective games.
However that's just my two cents, it doesn't have to necessarily be agreed upon.

Like, I usually like the Normal Boots and Hidden Block guys.

I can't finish a video of his due to stupidity, pretentiousness, obnoxiousness or lack of reviewer's integrity.

I don't like Yokai Watch. I don't, but he was absolutely unfair to the game and skipped the basic gameplay of the game in his review. My gosh, he didn't get more than two hours into the game.

Jimmy used to be known as "NintendoFanFTW". Used to make really good and insightful videos on anything Pokemon and I would say almost up there with Jwittz in that regard. I think the height of his popularity was when he did Pokemon Dex entries, all relatively pretty good.

But he's been getting older and if you watched his channel for a while you literally see him go through puberty. During this time, his method of doing videos has noticeably... changed. His output is a bit less then before, and his style of "reviewing" a game has taken a more approach to satire, jokes, mocking, etc then legit reviewing and insightfulness. It seems to me he's trying way too hard on the "comedy" aspect of his channel and videos. I have no problem with his Yokai Watch "review" since in all actuality it wasn't a review and you shouldn't take it as such, but still it's weird to see his content continue to go in that direction compared to years ago where things was slightly different. I would be a huge hypocrite if I said I had a problem with satire and mocking, something I do daily, but know that his attitude in recent videos wasn't always like that, or at least not as pronounced. Before, he was just a literal kid who was passionate on games.

They say kids are obnoxious, but Jimmy's case is the opposite, where the older he grew the more obnoxious he became.

Adding 3 characters to a series with only 2 games. MAYBE 3 by next smash. Including one that has lost all relevancy. If people thought KI getting 3 characters is bad digging up an old game like that is less than ideal.

Accept it.

Viridi imo has the better personality and more interesting moveset potential.
And as a fact, she is far more recognizable at least to those that played Smash than Ashley.

Most of the characters I like to play are mid-to-low tier, with the exceptions of Mario and Ryu (high) and Lucina (bottom). I'm okay with that.

I'd switch Fox and Ness.
Falcon and Luigi are B tier.
Wario is at LEAST C.
Lucas, Roy and Junior are D at worst.
Bowser feels better than DK atm but that may be just "shock" from the Koop-Hah still.
I'd argue Ganon at H and Jiggs at G.
And... is Mii Brawler that bad? I know gunner and swordfighter are very lowly looked on but I thought Brawler was a case of "mild threat but lack of range and okay recovery make them easily managable."

To be fair, I feel the only reason Fiorawas chosen instead of for X Zone 2 was because of the "Xeno" series being made by Monolith and that Fiora and KOS-MOS are similar in a lot of ways. Still is odd that Shulk isn't even a support unit though.

Moral of the story is, if Xenoblade has anymore Crossovers, I don't think Fiora is going to be the go-to like X Zone.

She is not the more popular one at all. Ashley is the most famous WarioWare character excluding Wario.

Viridi is part of a character-specific codec and a background hazard in a stage, while Ashley is a full-fledged assist trophy. That doesn't add up.

Both of them have great moveset potential, but I mean shouldn't we see more WarioWare reps then Virdi being playable?
