Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Underload, for this event I want to bring in your as one of the directors. I'm expecting double the amount that we had last year so Nite and the other directors will need your help. You will be paid just like any other director. This thread is both here and on all is brawl!!

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. With so many gaming communities out there Colorado Cutthroat and the NVGA had a hard time figure out which one to showcase at SuperCon this year. For the first time SuperCon is allowing the players to decide the last tournament to be brought to the NVGA championships. Please note that if the votes are high for more than one game then we might add more from this list.

Note: All these games will be available for free play all weekend at SuperCon.

-Soul Calibur 4
-Virtua Fighter 5
-Dance Dance Revolution
-Capcom vs Tatsunoko
-Wii Sports

So vote up players!!

Will there be a bonus pot this time around as well? It says something about people pre-qualifying would that mean if I went to a CO tourney and qualified for whatever it exactly is I'd automatically receive $150 when I went to Supercon?

Also, pre-reg starts in march or ... ?

Thanks :O

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Hey Dekar, like I told Sinz, I'm working on tthat aspect of the event and more. Pre-registration open on Saturday!! Just to let everyone know the goal is AT LEAST 300 SMASH HEADS for SuperCon this year. Last year we did well but let's blow it out the water this year. Smash will always have a permenant home in Colorado and the NVGA.

What you are going to need is a lot more advertising in here. 300 people is 6 people per state. =-/

You need to have either good hotel deals available or housing for everyone available.

Have 50 set ups.

Around 10 TO's for this. With at least 5 that aren't playing in the tournament.

Accept my challenge in DDR

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. All the details concerning the hotel are already up on the site. I encourage people to bunk with each thus the hotel is super cheap and it's nice. Has kitchen and everything.

Advertisment will be key so I'm really pushing the envelope with banner advertisment but it really comes down to everyone in the NVGA to come together to push this event. From New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Wyoming and everyone else in the southwest let's pull in everyone we can for one of the largest gaming events ever!!

WE have been working on setups since last supercon. I really hate the fact that you can't transfer data though. Will get it done though.

We will have tons of tournaments directors for this as we have been preparing for this since last SuperCon

... you can transfer data my friend. Promise.

the most you'll have to do is homebrew a setup, transfer data then delete homebrew. i know it's supercons setups or something. either way. you can transfer data.

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Sinz, we are putting A LOT of emphasis on pre-registration for the following reasons:

-We are planning to have over 200+ smashers alone attend SuperCon. Trying to process all those people at the door will effect the tournament dramatically thus pre-reg is HIGH ENCOURAGED if you are signing up for a tournament. Signing up at the door for a tournament of this size is not something we want to push as it will effect the start and end time of all tournaments. Pre-reg gives us a better idea of how to prepare for this event instead of half of the people coming at the door. Quality for this event is very important to me so I don't want to be unprepared for this and pre-reg insures that we will be ready. If people come at the door TO COMPETE that's fine but the emphasis is online pre-reg. I could do what EVO does and not having any door reg but I think it's still important to have that option but at a price AS AGAIN STARTING AND ENDING THE EVENT ON TIME AND QUALITY OF THE EVENT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

As for the price I will be doing the pricing for strictly Colorado Cutthroat specific events i.e. CCCT, Figther Frenzy, etc, etc but SuperCon is a partnership between a variety of organizations that all agreeded to the pricing. When I posted that it was with the idea that Cutthroat would be the only one funding the event. That assumption was wrong but that's a good thing because that means that the quality of the event WILL AND CAN BE INCREASED!!

Also, look at our events like this:

http://www.devastationevent.com/online-registration/

With amount of people that are coming to these events this is a standard and we are still cheapter then all the big majors out there!!

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Sinz, why don't you simply register now, pay $20 and lock your spot. This way you are pre-reg on the list. I don't understand what exactly the problem is especially the price for any other major is actually higher.

Because i can't guarantee that I will have a ride. Stuff always pops up. Look at your own scene. They were going to go OOS and got ****ed at the last second. Stuff comes up and I don't want to waste my money,

DFG, I was wondering if there is anyway you can keep the 20$ pre reg thing til the end of july. I think that would be really helpful.
