Reminds me of a glitch I had in Brawl once. I did the star K.O. glitch on Giga Bowser, it was his last life, and the final smash was about to end. He turned into a green flashing portal before the star k.o. animation completed and it remained there for the rest of the match.

Looks like they've got a more bizarre and important bug to fix here though.
