No evidence for it at all. It was just added to the page earlier today without any reference. It is most likely nothing.

It links to a Wikipedia article about an animation studio. Nothing about a Smash Bros. movie. And we already have a Smash movie, the SSE :psycho:

I just know it's going to insult everything I love about smash. no wavedashing, homo ice climbers , pichu won't be a little hero in his cute backpack or even be in it, captain falcon will trip and die before anything happens, more marth than roy, m2 is hiddln in the backround, metaknight does all the fighting, lacuas crying like a little ****, camping, lol pit, it would be about the unbearab;e story mode, and jigglypuff ins by a rest combo

Hahah, my older brother works for Imagi as an editor. He used to work for Dreamworks as an assistant editor and got shipped to Imagi for better pay and better hours. Imagi is sort of a sister company to Dreamworks and comes out with some of the darker films that Dreamworks doesn't want to release (as it would ruin their reputation for being a children's company). Look up Alex McDonnell on imdb :p

Anyway, I highly doubt this film is true. I might ask him whenever I talk to him next, but I'm not putting a ton of stock in this supposed film, since it was edited in and out pretty quickly.

Eh, another fake SSB movie thread, what can ya do? That's why I don't trust Wikipedia!

At least this thread wasn't a total loss, I had no idea there was a CG Digimon movie, too bad it was only in Japan. I might have to take a further look into that. :bee:
