Super Smash Bros Headcanons

[Luigi#1]

The 12 vets actually get jobs in the Smash Mansion they live in.
is the super visor, like a manager.
is more like an assistant manager.

In charge of entertainment huehuehue runs the fitness tests. [when off steps in]

Ness and Jigglypuff have no jobs. Ness is a kid, Jigglypuff is a Jigglypuff. Kirby can cook, Donkey Kong can guard, Yoshi likes fruit, Pikachu is electric, it works.

is actually a nice kid, and felt bad when people are scared of him. is in a similar situation.

Newcomers have to go through a series of tests to join the fight.

Meta Knight is a die-hard Trekkie, while King Dedede prefers Star Wars. The two often get into sci-fi fanboy wars over that. Fox likes both but doesn't say anything so as to avoid the glares of the two rival sci-fi fanboys.

Captain Falcon thinks MK and Dedede are both "posers" and is a Battlestar Galactica fan.

Zelda has a soft spot for Korean dramas, Pit likes shonen anime, and surprisingly enough, Little Mac is a fan of suspenseful thrillers and mysteries.

Samus and Sheik like actiony stuff, Wario is into often raunchy comedies, and Bowser and Ganondorf are horror flick buffs. One of Bowser and Ganondorf's favorite films is The Cabin in the Woods, despite its somewhat satirical edge.

As for the apts. themselves, the Nooklings own them and are at the reception desk (since it's like a hotel). Chrom lives in a trailer near Club Aether where he gets a drink after hours when not at the front. The assist trophies and other deconfirmed characters (Wonder Red, Viridi, and depending on your stance, Lip, among others) live in an underground shelter.

Possible newcomers like the Chorus Kids, Marshal, K. Rool, Bandana Dee, Shulk, Fiora, etc are temporarily staying in the VIP suites. Mewtwo sometimes sneaks into the VIP rooms since despite being rejected from Brawl he sees a chance for him in the new tournament.

Luigi and Lucina are seen developing a slow but steady friendship: even if bumping in terms that might have driven each other aside. Luigi isn't too fond of swordswoman's formality and stoic demeanor, but can relate to her when coming to pessimism and cynical/negative outlook on many things. He also looks up to Lucina with huge respect and not only wishes, but works on being a strong and unwinded person like her.

Lucina again, finds Luigi pretty cowardly and uncapable of taking in negative feedback and more importantly, hardships towards himself dignifiedly- but she appreciates green understudy's big heart and devotion to his loved ones, and is easily entertained, even fascinated by Luigi's quirky and eccentric way of doing certain things.

Both can be seen together sometimes, whether it's Lucina trying to teach Luigi her self-taught determination and tenacity on fighting, while Luigi provides her his instinctual comfort through little joys or help, and might remind her when she worries or works too hard before Smash Fights. Still, both things have tendency to fail because each other's flaws, either Lucina's stubborness if being worried for and Luigi's clumsiness or soft heart, but as said above, slow and steady.

When checking the list for people entering the club, Chrom can't help but feel jealous of his "leaked" comrades that made it in minus Shulk and Chorus Kids (so far). When Shulk visits, Chrom talks with him a bit and generally wishes Shulk doesn't befall the same fate. Same for the Chorus Kids.

Sometimes concerts are held there, with performances from Barbara the Bat, Chorus Kids, K.K Slider etc.

Ridley lives in the basement of the Smash Mansion. No one wants to go down there, even Captain Falcon gets nervous near the basement door. The door is locked, but that doesn't matter when the beast can easily destroy it.

Oh, in all honesty, Ridley wouldn't hurt a fly. He often plays cards with a R.O.B. unit when no one's around, but knows the others are afraid of him, so he stays down. He gets pretty lonely.

- Continuing from an earlier post I made, Ike just video tapes anything embarrassing Marth, Link, or Pit does for blackmail material.

- There is an ongoing betting pool on who the newcomers will be. Everyone but Link, Ike, and Pautena lost money when Lucina was revealed.

-Tingle lives in a tiny little shack on the far corner of the Smash Mansion grounds after being kicked out by the assist trophies two weeks after Brawl started.

Potential newcomer headcanons:

Marshal's room in the VIP suite is filled with various instruments, a stereo, and a Wii with Rhythm Heaven Fever cause you know, product placement. He even has a lot of cheese sticks in his mini-fridge, no one knows why.

Shulk likes to read a lot. He's also the super nice guy, helping people feel better when they're down. He even, with Fiora, helped the Captain feel better after Snake ended the friendship they had. (This was in part inspired by a real life event of mine, when a RL friend suddenly ended her friendship with me. Tomorrow is her bday and I'm still a bit sad.)

Fiora has a bad habit of checking out the guys and drinking water out of a bottle or glass as she looks at them. And since her Mechon body runs on water, I guess you could say she's...thirsty

Bandana Dee often visits Kirby and hangs out with him. He's also good at spear fishing.

- Robin always researches his fellow smashers and even tries to have support conversations with them. Lucina does the same, but doesn't go all out like Robin.
- Ridley, Pit, and Palutena often comfort Samus from the travesty that was Other M.
- Peach often groups the rest of the female fighters for a slumber party.
- The sword wielders often hang out together and invite Roy.
- The Villager is actually the Mayor from Animal Crossing New Leaf. Isabelle's filling in for them. They often chats with Peach, Zelda, Marth, and Dedede about their laws and politics. He also sends letters to Isabelle frequently to tell her about their experiences.
- Literally EVERYONE respects Pac-Man.
- Nikki is one of the Miis that hang out with the rest of the Smashers. Mega Man and her are really ecstatic to be in Smash due to their games, Spotpass and a ****ton of Megaman games, have been cancelled/shut down.

- Even though the smashers make jokes about Sonic about being from Sega, but they agreed never to mention Sonic '06.

I always imagined that somewhere down in his life, Marth became incredibly good friends with Captain Falcon. No one knows why though, but some theorized they have great respect for one another as Smashers. In reality, even the two of them don't know, but are really good friends.

Marth and Fox both have the same nightmare about Jigglypuff. They're wondering why they have those nightmares when they fought worst, but remember as soon as Jiggs does her famous Wall of Pain technique.

After Flint, Lucas's dad, succumbed to an illness, Lucas was devastated. Flint was, along with Boney, the last person he loves from his old life. Lucas falls into a depressive state.

Samus,, knowing full well what's it look to lose family, adopts Lucas as her younger brother. Naturally Lucas resisted the idea, but warms up to Samus....eventually.

Shiek was the alter ego of Zelda. Before Sm4sh, Zelda saw, not herself in the mirror, but Shiek. Naturally she thought she was crazy, but it turned out that Shiek developed a life and a will of her own. So much that the two of them try to fight over control. If it wasn't Pit suggesting the Mirror of Truth, neither of them would be there. Shiek is really grateful to have her own body. Now the three of them gets into all sorts of pranks.

Palutena won't admit it, but she secretly admires Lucina. If you ask her why, she'll deny it. Ask Pit or the other gods they will have no idea.

Tingle is kept away from the younger Smashers and Morgan for obvious reasons.

SSB4's Lucario belongs to Korrina, due her being the famous Successor and presentative for the Mega-Evolutions in Kalos. Conversely, the Lucario in Brawl belonged to Archie.

Korrina can be seen cheering for Lucario either from front of video screen, or in arenas (like Arena Ferox). When her Lucario breaks the Smash Ball, the Lucarionite can be seen glowing on her Mega Ring in the crowd. After activating it, not only Lucario will mega-evolvem but their minds align into a synchronized whole. Both will then "fight as one" through telepathy, given by their steel-hard trust and bond and power of Smash ball. (Korrina enters a slight trance due seeing things from Lucario's perspective.)

This is mostly due Mega Evolutions having the trainers still giving orders to their Mega-evolved Pokemon, otherwise they can't contain their power easily. Korrina can't do so due not being directly in the battlefield with Lucario, but trusts him enough to preferring not to.
At most times, she supervises Lucario's thoughts and actions, and brings them up tohim the next time they meet. Sometimes plans are devised in secret of other fighters. In more unfortunate times Korrina's judgement gets best of her and her action might align against Lucario's, ruining their synchronization and impeding with the aura Pokemon's battling - or Lucario's immense amount of Aura might cloud his rational mind, mostly if Korrina might not be watching him over enough carefully.

Master Hand watches constantly over these actions and sometimes has to warn for Korrina about reconsidering of giving her the ability to "sync" with her Lucario.

Korrina is also one of the residents in "Villa of the Goddess" as the other supporters, and has become warm companions with most of them. She and Doc Louis share a lot conversations on fighting, Chrom on bonds and trust between comrades or spectating whether who of them beats who (Lucario VS Robin or Lucina), Nooklings because they're so darn cute, and Lan Hikari because of their rollerblading hobby.
In general, she has no short of time being bored, and watches over her beloved Pokemon taking on the Nintendo's greats, and much more.

(I was heavily driven by Korrina-episodes in the XY-Anime. You might get what you mean if havin seen them too)

The stores in Smash Island (Clothes, Hats, Food, etc.) are ran by popular store-owning Nintendo characters: A generic Toad, Cranky Kong, the Mask Salesman (Legend of Zelda), Anna (Fire Emblem), and Rusty (Rusty's Real Deal Baseball).

Donkey Kong has a tradition of his own: Whenever a female fighter joins Smash Bros., DK will physically pick her up (like he does with Pauline in his games) and carry her to the top of the Smash Building (or Mansion in the pre-Smash 4 days). The real reason he does this is to show the newcomer a full view of the island.

Everyone from the Fire Emblem games is freely invited to watch battles as spectators in the Colosseum and Arena Ferox stages. Chrom is always the first one there whenever Lucina is participating (unless Robin is fighting where he has to be ready for battle in case he/she gets a Smash Ball), and Cynthia is a huge fan of Link so she attends all of his matches.
