my sentiments exactly.
The Wii U is way more powerful than the last actual Xbox video game console and PS3. He's dead wrong on that.

Everything else he's right on: the 1st/2nd party exclusives, the SEGA deal, the 3rd party exclusives, hardcore games (as in Xenoblade, Bayonetta, a new Zelda, and Fire Emblem), the Smash Brothers, indie developer friendliness continuing (aka what the first and last fake Xbox gaming console), save 3DS games for a different direct (because that console is KILLING IT!!!), show Retro Studio's new games, and not wasting time on launch window games (the Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3).
Clicked on the link Johnknight1 gave about Mega Man. Not sure what he's talking about. All I know is that Capcom's 30th anniversary is coming very soon.
It's on the SAME DAY as the Nintendo Direct in which Smash Bros. is revealed dude. You could possibly two and two together and make some magic!!!

And Capcom has been preparing to make a new Mega Man game, according to various sources.

I can't believe we only have one week left until E3. Despite me always thinking that my days are long, I think this week will be over before I know it haha.

the days are getting even shorter for me. i don't like it, it's going to fast (that's what she said). have to finish my rigging before tomorrow at 1pm so i won't sleep at all. i need to call up my aunt so i can have a place to stay next week for the E3 event, i need to finish up my capture the flag level by next saturday but considering E3 will take up all my attention, that depletes more of my time. oh, and Sunday, i have to go pick up my badge at LA so i will lose 2-3 hours getting that and going back (including the waiting in line thing)

and if ever i have to be forced to do my work on my laptop, i have to deal with the 2 hour self destruct on it that cannot be removed not to mention my GPU isn't good enough for UDK so i have to worry about overheating cause it uses like 100% of my CPU. sigh, problems... oh, and my battery's half life has deteriorated so much, i have only 10 minutes unplugged... power saver and lowest backlight only gives me an extra 4 minutes when i'm not playing on DesMuMe.

Man, the few days around June 10 are going to have me packed. E3, live Nintendo Direct, birthday at Busch Gardens, other friend's birthday at Fun Spot, my dad visiting, demos at Best Buy, etc.

What is it with June and having so much stuff happen?

Pokemon doesn't seem like a very accurate way to assess season anyway since a season lasts for 1 month

From a gameplay prospective, having the seasons being regulated by month is a more convenient method then the typical 3 month thing.

My Sawsbuck at least looks pretty again. I never really liked Spring Sawsbuck, but the other seasons I really liked.

Funny thing is that White is associated with death in Asia.
So is the number 4, due to four being pronounced the same as death, although written in a different character.

And if you count Spring as the first season, the fourth season will be winter, which can be associated with white, due to the color's prominence in snowy landscapes...

I thought it was purple that was associated with death over there. I believe it's the case in Japan, which might explain why a lot of antagonists in manga, anime, and video games tend to corporate a certain shade of purple.

You had to bring this up on the 4th

I'm just seriously hoping that most of the Nintendo Directs are not wasted on garbage nobody cares about like Wii U Fit or something.

Well, there's always that possibility, but I don't believe that such a thing will happen this time.

I'll agree. Nintendo needs to absolutely blow the fans away if they hope to make the Wii-U relevant. The disastrousreputation that the Xbox One is getting helps, but it is not going to save the Wii-U unless Nintendo give consumers reasons to buy the Wii-U.

All Sven has said on the subject of future Megaman titles is that there are top men within Capcom discussing the series future and that he, personally, hopes the series returns to strictly being run and gun style. He's also stated that there are things planned for Megaman's anniversary that do not revolve around new games. I'm positive Capcom's E3 countdown clock encompasses more than just what potentially might be revealed during the next Nintendo Direct.

Pretty sure it will get a decent amount of talk time since we have not heard any information regarding the title since last E3, but I don't expect it to be anything along the lines of what they will do for the big three reveals. I'd be more afraid of Nintendo spending most of their time going into the details of the Summer Wii U update. Unless it is adding 3DS cross play functionality or something else in extraordinary fashion, just show me the games Iwata.

So i'm finally going to get F-Zero X for the virtual console. Just need to connect Club Nintendo to my Wii.

I was considering getting that as well once I purchase Animal Crossing this month, and I might pick up Fire Emblem Awakening along with it (completely reviving my 3DS). I'm interested because the only F-Zero game I've played recently is the one that you get in the Ambassador's Program on the 3DS and I'd like to see a bit more.

And I've been really wanting to get Mario Tennis from Club Nintendo but every time it comes around I don't have the coins for it. I remember loving that game when I was a kid. Although I might refrain if I found out the 3DS one is better.

So I'm going to get a game off of Club Nintendo but I only have enough coins for one. Should I get F-Zero X or Super Mario Bros. 3?
Depends on whether or not you can land a cheap copy of Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary online (better investment). If so I'd suggest going that route and spending those coins on F-Zero X. Otherwise my personal recommendation is to go with Super Mario Bros. 3. Truly one of the very few endearing games from the NES era, of course that could simply be my nostalgia talking. Never played F-Zero X but I know it is a solid title.

Hearing that officials at Capcom are discussing a new Mega Man game is encouraging. Granted, it's not a confirmation by any means, but it does show that Capcom is at least thinking seriously about where to take the franchise next. I think that we'll start to see new quality Mega Man games appear within five years at the most and hopefully not drowned in over-saturation that caused the franchise to sell as poorly as it did in the late 2000s (for the most part) and relatively weak receptions in comparison to the early 2000s (games were in the 8s while games in the late 2000s usually got 7s and 6s).

My hope for the franchise is that the franchise evolves beyond the action-platform setting the franchise has (at least for Classic and X). I think both the Classic and X franchise can benefit greatly from some new innovations within those games. A new sub-franchise wouldn't be bad as well, although I'd like for this one to be more permanent and be able to continue regardless of story so that Capcom doesn't go on to make even more spin-offs.
