I know everyone's probably wondering what the yellow orb is. I have two guesses:
1. A move from a newcomer or a new move for a vet
Or
2. Something to do with an item

I dont think so, you can see the horizon and the light is barely creeping in. The orb is too high above the horizon to be the sun or lighting, I think.

Gotta admit, when I first saw it I freaked out thinking it was Ganons new energy ball.
Still not sure, but eh. Certainly doesn't seem like a move from the confirmed characters. MAYBE Mega man? I haven't played 1,2, or 3 though so i don't know if it shares similarities with a move from there.

Only things I see that could cause something like that would be Fox's laser or Pikachu's Thundershock.

Except WFT seems to enjoy whatever is happening to her, so I don't think she's getting attacked.

Plus, WFT could be a joke on the whole "Volley ball" thing, since she's a health nut and all.

Yep, I'm 67% certain this is Ganon's energy ball.

Thing is, why would the rising sun be given THAT many effects plus it looks like its in front of WFT. I honestly don't think its the sun.

Good to see it's not my computer going crazy. Definitely weird to see it go down, at least the pic was saved for later should something change.

Anyway after re-watching the Developer Direct I'm stumped again as to what it could be, it doesn't share the same animations as WFT's currently known moves and the Villager's Fireworks are blue. Also doesn't look like a Mega Buster Shot, so I guess it's a move we haven't seen or something else entirely.
