SMT x FE is in a modern setting? Huh....I wonder if this means that the FE characters will get used as summons or something. Or maybe it's time travel.
The outrealm gate introduced in Awakening along with how those cards worked. Leave alot of possibilities, I think IS and Atlus will be using them.

Still, I really hope it's a TRUE crossover, not some half-a$$ed thing like the DLC/Spotpass characters in Awakening. Hopefully we'll get to see some real character interaction, and not just "oh these two groups are fighting each other for no adequately explained reason."

I doubt it would be half-assed. It'll be a true crossover. Mark my words, may I be struck down if I am mistaken.

Dang, just saw the GTAV trailer...
I don't know what to say.
I think "overwhelming" would be the best word.

The game looks so cutting-edge it's creepy almost.

A bendy MILF????
My first four initials spell MILF. I'm pretty flexible.

If Banjo wasn't sold off like some slave on the auction block
That reminded me of this.

Italicized = I don't eat too often.
I really don't eat that often. Weird coincidence.

Somehow I always miss the good stuff, but ice-bending is best bending. Also on the Metal Gear discussion, I hope if they do bring back Snake, it's Big Boss instead. More relevant now that Solid/David's story is canonically over with, and MGS3D being the latest appearance by the character on Nintendo consoles, to my knowledge. And obviously MGS5 advertising and all that. Wouldn't like if they just went with Old Snake for the whole "most recent appearance" update.

At first, I (and many people) thought that kid in the cage from the first MGS5 trailer was Snake/David, but I dunno anymore.

I know, and the ending made it even more great. "And then... there's Grand Theft Auto Online, which we'll show you properly later", she says as there's a jet piloted by another person flying by and chaos happening through the streets, all players.

GTA IV online wasn't perfect, the but free (roaming) mode was pretty freaking awesome. It would be nice to see that return, but with the possibility of just staying in a smaller location. I had some freaking mad fun times just doing all kinds of crazy crap in GTA IV's free (roaming mode). One of my favorite things to do to this very day is to ride on a motorcycle and get chased by people in helicopters who can't hit me! :shades:

Ughh.
I'm not into online games that much though.
I would prefer it if they focused on making a competent local multiplayer, but that won't happen because they want to sell as much as possible and people suck.

Looks fun though.

Regardless, I'm fully expecting a game with the lot of you involving us crashing jets into each other.

I don't like bandwagoning or even trying to understand Kojima fans (Kojima himself, too), but I could see it.

The one I find hilarious being shoved down everyone's throat is Eli being Liquid.
Also lol @ the thought of Kid Snake being playable.

Yea, like I said, it looks fun. It just irks me that online is now the status quo, and local multiplayer isn't nearly as common anymore.

Same happened to me with Peace Walker (which I have on the PS3), where I would've enjoyed the coop far more if I was able to play local instead of online, but whatever.

Yea, it wasn't a bandwagon thing though, I just thought that the child soldier might've been Snake when the game was initially revealed.
I don't think so anymore, especially since Snake is from Alaska.

I wish online games like GTA IV had an offline LAN/multiplayer mode for us to do the online mode offline. I mean, Halo online is nice, but if you've ever played Halo on LAN with like 10-16 people, it is BONKERS FUN!!! That personal experience makes the game so much better.

That's why I always will love Smash for its' local multiplayer, which is the staple of the series, and why we will have real in your house smash... FOREVER!!!

Agreed, agreed, agreed!

Also, if there is ping pong, I will challenge you to that as well.

Oh, and if there is a leg toilet plunger mini-game, I will face you at that, too. :shades:

Yea, Red Dead also would benefit a lot from it.

It also makes these games age a lot better when they're less dependent on online modes.
Games like Peace Walker will have to be constantly rereleased for people to be able to experience it the way it's supposed to be experienced much later in the future.

All these online games age like **** on a sidewalk.

So just wondering but.....how would you guys react if this Gundam was a playable character in SSB4?

Heh. Reminds me of when I chose to buy Dynasty Warriors: Gundam.

With absolutely no knowledge of anything Gundam. That game is a huge confusing mess for people who aren't dedicated fans of the anime.

Just like Hokuto Musou was for my friends. (Another anime Dynasty Warriors game)

Okay, but only if we get the slammed version of this jam.

Of course.

Of course.

Ha, hey, if I see that game for cheap I'll probably still pick it up. Again, not knowing anything about the series at all.

I guess I find the ridiculously repetitive tedium of the Dynasty Warriors series relaxing?

Yeah, I really miss MGSIV's multiplayer. It wasn't great, but it would be nice to play it with friends via offline multiplayer and LAN play. Peace Walker from what I hear has way better multiplayer, and it too would benefit from offline multiplayer and LAN play. I also think having games released on PC with fan-run servers would also be a desired direction with said games in order to keep their online gameplay alive.

And seriously, for games like Madden or NBK 2K... could you imagine how awesome playing those games with like 6-16 people offline would be=??? That would be pretty freaking incredible IMO. That would actually make me buy sports games on a more regular basis, and would keep bringing me back for more (of them).

Of course you do. The Dynasty Warriors games are so fun, simple and relaxing to play.

There are people on the field. Kill them.

There are also Generals. Kill them.

A boss may appear after all the Generals get killed. Kill it too.

Simple and to the point. What's not to like? =D

And, hey, I'll be honest... I've learned a nice amount of Chinese and Japanese history from playing those damn games.

"Did you know that the Japanese invented electric guitar combat centuries ago? Totally worth the carpal tunnel to learn this stuff."

It's not even the matter of PW's multiplayer being better; in PW, multiplayer is a must. The game can technically be played through all alone, but at one point in the game, you pretty much need coop, because if not, it's nearly impossible and unfair.
Even if you're some wizard and manage to beat it by yourself, you still miss out on a lot of the experience because you never played coop.

That's why PW is my least favorite of the MGS games (other than Portable Ops). If it wasn't so multiplayer dependent, I would say it's just as good as MGS1, 2, 3, and 4.
