Well, in Brawl they had the stages representing the eight major franchises. I'm guessing Delfino, Eldin Bridge, Pokemon Stadium 2, 75 M, Halberd, Lylat Cruise, Yoshi's Island from SSBB, and Frigate Orpheon.

Yeah, it seemed like it was about the same to me too, but I'm hoping it's relative to the stages in the game, so maybe it's better than it looks from the trailers.

Halberd is a must for a returning stage. It's the only Kirby Brawl stage there is.

Not sure if Delfino Plaza will return. Skyloft seems to have replaced it. Then again, both Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2 made it in Brawl.

Also bring back Spear Pillar, Wario Ware Inc., Hanebow, Mario Bros., Mushroomy Kingdom, Pictochat, Summit, Norfair, and Tetra's Ship.

Yeah, I started finding some stuff about that guy that made me really uncomfortable.
I'm not expecting much, right now...
But at least "tonight" is not very far from right now... I kinda like "tonight" rumors, because they're debunked really fast.

Mario should be most like his Melee self I feel. Or a bit more like his Melee self mixed with Dr.Mario's style (**** the popo, Dr.Mario warrants NO return to the series). Samus and Link being more based on Melee wouldn't hurt either. Especially regarding their specials / projectiles. Link could be made a little faster SINCE HE'S (mostly) BASED ON SS LINK ANYWAY. As for Kirby, check how he was in N64.

Bowser was bad in all games he was in. So are Yoshi and Ness. So I hope they fix them first.

To be honest I'm only informed on his most recent bs, which I linked, since that's around the time I started browsing NeoGAF but from what I've heard through multiple resources ever since this announcement tonight it goes back farther then that.

Wouldn't be surprised if he meant that as well. Main thing is, is that the Wii U version will not be handicapped, and that everyone's panic (or trolling in a few cases) was definitely overblown for there are still plenty of options open to Sakurai and his team should worst come to worst with the implied programming difficulties.

Sakurai needs to give me one newcomer I truely care about and I'll continue my hype for Smash. Right now, the best things I can name are the designs of DK, Link and Samus, and the fact they indeed WILL use a speed in between Melee and Brawl (which I already assumed from the trailers).

I think they should have a neutral earthbound stage as all the earthbound stages sucked. like Fourside, Onett, New Pork City where pretty bad stages imo.
