Wasn't aware of it. Then again, I haven't really followed video games too closely.
I wonder what it could be then? Certainly not a Mega Man game since Sven said they did intend on celebrating the anniversary without it and I doubt it'd be a new Street Fighter or Resident Evil. Perhaps Breath of Fire IV?

I am not sure whether or not that new Darkstalkers will see the light of day because the XBLA/PSN (Darkstalkers Resurrection) compilation that was released didn't sell enough to be a commercial success. Which is a very stupid move but i guess Capcom wanted to see if people truly wanted a new Darkstalkers.

Nintendo's conference should be in a late night talk show format, where Iwata occasionally cuts to R.O.B., the band leader although there is no band, who nods in excited agreement at everything he says. Could clap too. And the audience laughs. Good show.

I think part of it just has to do with it being an old title and not having quite the "legacy" of 3rd Strike. There's also the big issue where people in the FGC are all "Flavor of the Month" for anything not SF or Marvel.

Don't know why, but lately I've been toying with Link in both Smash 64 and Melee. To be honest he was my first main back in the days of my youth, so it does make some form of sense. Personally I do hope he's a more viable character in the next game, with the appropriate buffs and such.

I only have played and owned the NES version, but with all the Stirider love that Assist Me & The Online Warrior give, I'd definitely be hyped for such a game...though to be fair, not as much as a new Mega Man game like 11/X9/ZX3.

Wow, GameFAQs has gotten a lot worse since the pre-Brawl days. Back then, the worst characters people would suggest would be the Duck Hunt Dog (some people recognized it as a joke, but sadly, a few lost souls thought it was a legitimately good idea). Now, we got this. Man that place is slipping further and further into eternal damnation.
