For some reason, I still think the name sounds stupid as hell, like, it should be Eternal Shadows instead. I don't know, it just doesn't flow well. It would be like Eternal Darkness being named Darkness of the Shadows. Can't forget 'bout that. Sad too, looked promising...
Fishy? I noticed a lot of people were unable to put their money towards anything Denis Dyack is a part of but I never saw anyone calling the project fishy. Hopeless but not fishy. What about Shadow of the Eternals? That entire thing was fishy as hell.
Ey! This is a formal discussion we shall not have "name-calling" in this classroom!Because I said all of your opinions are ****ty and that you are ****ty overall? Way to blow things outta proportion. But aside from the "astronomical" costs, though, are there any other reasons why you feel Inafune could be likened to a money-grubbing pig? Hopefully I can get a "mature" response outta that one. Oh, and maybe an educated one, too!
Yeesh. It was a nightmareSo that is what happened? I wasn't around, it sucks that everybody has to deal with it, they could have just banned that one user. The moment they asserted it wasn't due to one user was the moment I realized it was locked because of one user.
I had fun...Yeesh. It was a nightmare
I don't remember the details but I remember reading an article pointing out a lot of discrepancies/contradictions within the Kickstarter which made it appear fishy. Again, I don't remember why, but I'm sure the article or video, whatever I read/watched, is still out there.Fishy? I noticed a lot of people were unable to put their money towards anything Denis Dyack is a part of but I never saw anyone calling the project fishy. Hopeless but not fishy.
Shadows of the Eternals hints at powerful entities (Eternals) leaving an impact (Shadows). If there are powerful entities the title 'Eternal Shadows' does not really serve the plot justice as it lacks the inclusion of the entities. For some reason, I still think the name sounds stupid as hell, like, it should be Eternal Shadows instead. Or Lords of Shadow. But who'd think up a stupid name like that? For some reason, I still think the name sounds stupid as hell, like, it should be Eternal Shadows instead. I don't know, it just doesn't flow well. It would be like Eternal Darkness being named Darkness of the Shadows.
Hmm, I didn't know that. Still, whether the title is plot-fueled or not, it still doesn't roll off the tongue very well.Shadows of the Eternals hints at powerful entities (Eternals) leaving an impact (Shadows). Well, when in doubt, turn to Big Rigs...it was really fun but some people took it too seriously
Lol that kid just kept onI had fun...
You just did.Or Lords of Shadow. But who'd think up a stupid name like that?
I sure don't forgive the game...You just did.
Anyway, I never noticed, but that is kind of a silly title. But hey it's Castlevania, I forgive it.
I've never played it, but it looks fun. In fact, it's still sitting on my shelf sealed. Once I'm finished with DMC4, I may open it.I sure don't forgive the game...
...Stupid cake reference...
You learn something everyday.I thought the reason that the Shadow of the Eternals game was screwed over because they found out one of the guys who was making it had been accused of being a pedophile? Or something along those lines. It's all weird stuff. It's like the game was destined to just not happen.
I heard about that. Pretty disgusting. You learn something everyday.
not if you sleep for 24 hoursYou learn something everyday.
Dang it! Now I have to go look it up!I thought the reason that the Shadow of the Eternals game was screwed over because they found out one of the guys who was making it had been accused of being a pedophile? What if you learn something in your dreams?not if you sleep for 24 hours
What if you learn something in your dreams?
Sadly.I heard about that. Pretty disgusting.
The Kickstarter was doomed to fail anyway but they cancelled it themselves fairly soon after that.
I think it goes without saying that it's pretty messed up. Not just the situation, though that's clearly the worst part of it. But the fact that many people no longer have jobs because of it falling under.I heard about that. Pretty disgusting.

Dreams can't be trusted. I mean, sure it starts out with you waking up normally but then start fighting King Kong whilst in Mecha Godzilla getting back-up from Optimus Prime. Soon you find yourself in an island of pastries and super models in skimpy clothing. So at that point you begin to wonder if it's real. What if you learn something in your dreams?
...Don't remind me...any one remember that one kickstarter scam the one with the feminist that knew nothing about video games?
Tiki needs more love, and I need to actually design a moveset for her. Besides, she could be a hell of a lot more unique than any Sword-wielding lord out there.

A word to the wise, if you want to be taken seriously in a conversation, it's usually best to not needlessly insult people. Also, I asked why my opinion on Kickstarters was ****ty, nothing more nothing less, you are the one who misinterpreted, not myself. That, and giving details on a fighting game isn't the same as the overall costs for a platformer. Besides, if we were to look at overall platformer prices, let's look at Shantae: Half Genie Hero, a game with a huge open-world environment, all platform play, and added in bonuses, all for a little over 3/4 a million dollars. Mighty Number 9 ended with over 5x said amount at over 4 million dollars, and it took them 2.5 million dollars to put it out for all platforms...almost 4x as much as Half-Genie Hero made in total. You really going to look me in the eyes and tell me it takes 2.5 million dollars to make a platformer on all consoles? And that it takes 4 million to get an online race mode? It's a load of bull****.Because I said all of your opinions are ****ty and that you are ****ty overall? Way to blow things outta proportion. Making video games isn't cheap. You should look at the breakdown for the cost of making a single character in Skullgirls.
na that one where she talked about how video games are all sexist but either left out info or lied about the games she talked about...Don't remind me...
...Mighty No. 9 I'm assuming? Oh boy...
shes from the new TMNT IDW comics her name is Alopex shes a pretty cool characterBTW where does your avi come from? I swear I've seen it somewhere, presumably a webcomic..
I think it's from IDW's awesome TMNT run, correct Reznor?...Don't remind me...

Do we even care? I think that's a better question.any one remember that one kickstarter scam the one with the feminist that knew nothing about video games?
Normally I can't tell whether my dreams are real or not until I wake up and realise Batman isn't in Brawl. But lately I've been realising my dreams are fake while I've been dreaming then. Coincidently the ones where that have happened involve me getting SSB4 and playing it.I think it goes without saying that it's pretty messed up. Not just the situation, though that's clearly the worst part of it. But the fact that many people no longer have jobs because of it falling under.

Feminist Frequency?na that one where she talked about how video games are all sexist but either left out info or lied about the games she talked about
I remember learning how to get to the last platform for Jiggs Board the Platforms in 64 through a dream. Weird huh? What if you learn something in your dreams?
ya thats itFeminist Frequency?
well EA hired her to help with Mirrors Edge 2Do we even care? I think that's a better question.
Anyone got some good topic to go over? I can't think of anything at the moment. Oh, well the weather still sucks, but that's a given.
Huh, that interesting. Most of the time I can control my dreams with no issue. I think they call it lucid dreaming. Though a few times where I'm in a deep sleep my mind wanders on it's own, though nothing too weird happens.Normally I can't tell whether my dreams are real or not until I wake up and realise Batman isn't in Brawl. Mine are the same way, makes sleeping a really fun experience.Huh, that interesting. Most of the time I can control my dreams with no issue. I think they call it lucid dreaming. Though a few times where I'm in a deep sleep my mind wanders on it's own, though nothing too weird happens.
