Does anyone here want a FE Awakening rep instead of Lyn or Roy? Or is it something we all just kind of expect?

I, for one, am actually really starting to like the Chrom\Lucina duo concept.

Awakening is the only FE I've played, and I really liked it. I don't want any of them in Smash though, I'm fine with Marth, Ike, and possibly Roy.

It always confuses me when people like a character but don't want them in Smash.

I'd love to see Lucina, but since we have normal Marth, I don't see it happening. Too confusing for people who have yet to play Awakening.

The same could be said for Chrom, though.

I'm of the opinion we're getting a new Fire Emblem character, regardless.

Other then that white board drawing he did a long time ago? Nope. Of course I wouldn't put to much stock in it and don't understand why people use it as "proof" for the characters drawn on it.

Tiki would be my first choice.

Then Anna.

Then Robin.

Then Chrom/Robin.

Then Chrom/Lucina.

Then Chrom.

But of course my most wanted FE necomer would be the Black Knight, but that won't ever happen.

Soooo.....on Lucario, does anyone hope he'll have better color swaps? The only one that worked well for telling two Lucario's apart were his basic color and his Silver color. You'd think that he could also get his Shiny color too. I liked that red one in Project M, but that isn't likely as far as I know....But some of the other Pokemon have gotten complete color changes. Like Mewtwo and Charizard.

Silver Lucario is more then enough. xD

No he isn't and no other veteran is either. A veteran that was speculated to be on the chopping block returning does not mean all other vets are safe.

It always confuses me when people like a character but don't want them in Smash.

Well there's no way possible for every single character I like to end up in Smash, and just because I like a character doesn't necessarily mean I want them in either. I didn't really "like" any of the characters in Awakening anyway, and I like to think of things in context. Take Chrom for instance, he works well enough in his role, but take him out of that role and stick him in Smash. Alright? Good isn't it? Not really, he's just another swordsman trying to be different from Marth and Ike, his entire personality pretty much relies on the supporting cast of Awakening, and most importantly your avatar. He's really not interesting when he isn't surrounded by five or more people, most of his charm comes from others rather than himself. Shoving Lucina in with him as some sort of combo? Still doesn't help much since she was one of the least charming characters in the game (in my opinion anyway), having her work with Chrom in a tag-team would be just as bad as Diddy and Dixie being shoehorned together. If I had to pick someone from Awakening, it would just end up being one of the supporting characters that would never happen, like Tharja, Stahl, poor Kellam, Tiki, or Nowi. One of the other reasons, as superficial as it might sound, is that he's just another goddamned blue haired swordsman, do you really want three guys running around who look just like each other, dress similarly, and swing around swords? I'd rather someone who looks different at least.

Not even sure if I even want another Fire emblem character. I think I'd be fine with any choice provided we keep Ike. Maybe if we had a choice that had a different fighting style from the other two. Or a different weapon.

But I would of never labeled her as a character that controls a puppet in the form of a Luma.

I personally don't think Tiki has a better chance than Anna, I have a feeling she might be ignored as a possible FE choice. Though the manakete abilities and possible fiery dragon Taequando moves are indeed interesting.

Lucas doesn't look much like Ness outside of a similar taste for shirts and being the same height. I never said anything about likelihood either.

I was talking about Tiki, and actually you can, or at least achieve relationship level S with her.

Unfortunately, I was stuck marrying Chrom on my playthrough. There's nothing wrong with same-sex marriage Nintendo. I would have had Stahl and Kellam get married too.

Well, my first playthrough I married Olivia, the second was Nowi, the third was Tiki, and this current playthrough is my first female character playthrough and I have the perfect oddball picked for when I can finally complete a certain chapter.

Not really, I honestly want the more relevant and prominent character. If you are choosing a less ideal character just because they are more unique, you are doing something wrong. There are plenty of ways to make similar looking characters play completely different thus making their similarities negligible.

Anna has a fair chance, yes, but not as much as Tiki. Anna has appeared in more games, all but one to be precise, this is true, but he role in all but one of the games was very very minor and the role she had in FEA was only so much bigger as well. Tiki may not have as many games, but she played a more important role in all of the games she was in.

Not like it matters since any non FE lord will most likely not be added, which is a shame.


As for the FEA marriage talk. I went Olivia > Tiki > Anna for my male playthroughs

And Henry > Lon'qu for my Female playthroughs.


Eventually I need to do a power run with min/maxing the children to their possible best, but I'm not going to attempt that till I can get all the DLC.
