Well, it's very nice and surprising to see Lucario back. Now we wait for the inevitable February General Direct. Any thoughts on who it would be revealed?

Based on what we know, I'm going to guess either a DK character, Mewtwo, or Snake. Palutena maybe if they want to just get the whole business out of the way.

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if it's another newcomer entirely.

Well, it's very nice and surprising to see Lucario back. Now we wait for the inevitable February General Direct. Any thoughts on who it would be revealed?

I think its going to be Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze related, I think it comes out the 13th or 14th in Japan. But more specifically, I think its going to be the Diddy & Dixie team Sakurai wanted to make for Brawl.

I had many a great night on Miiverse following the original announcement, mentioning Ridley and causing nothing short of an angry mob. It's like smashboards just most the users don't understand the concept of opinion and argument and haven't played any videogame released before 2006.

Try restarting your browser? I don't use adblock, so I wouldn't really know...

I just don't like those kinds of shows. By "those kinds of shows" I mean crap like Family Guy, Simpsons, American Dad, South Park, Futurama, ect... I dislike them all and see no appeal or comedy in them.

Oh, I've tried. It doesn't work. Sometimes if I refresh with Alt+F5 it'll go away temporarily, but that's it. It's okay though, I switched to Chrome and it works fine.

Click the Adblock button and select "Don't run on pages o this domain". That should do it.

Yeah, that works perfectly on Chrome, but not Firefox. I'm frankly disappointed in ol' Mozilla, it's been going downhill.

Which is weird because I remember it happening to me once (mind you I don't use Adblock). But, then again, this is the same computer that has Smashboards crash on me every now and then... (I use Firefox)

It's a downloadable add-on for Firefox and Chrome, probably other browsers too. It's quite nifty, and even gets rid of video ads on YouTube.

I think we're going to see two characters a month from this point forward so I think Diddy will be revealed on the 13th and somebody else during the Nintendo Direct. I think it will be Palutena based solely on conjecture. Remember back in November how there was a high number of Mario related pics and then Rosalina was revealed in December? Well, I think because of the high number of Kid Icarus pics we got in January that this might serve as a hint (along with the "leak) that Palutena will be next. I have no evidence for this hypothesis because I'm a wizard.

Honestly I'd use Chrome, as it works very well. What's stopping me is it's "problem" with Youtube videos (on this computer I'm using, at least).

The two's fate have never been intertwined, one being in does not affect the others chances. If Mewtwo is meant to be in the game, he will be regardless of Lucario, PT or whatever character's presence is.

I'm sure you're right, but for some reason I've always seen Lucario as Mewtwo's replacement, due to their similar (but very different) play styles.

I wouldn't mind having both, though.

It's really weird. Sometimes, when I put a Youtube (or, any video site for that matter) video on, it gives me this strange static-like noise (its mostly when I multitask that it comes up. Even with something as simple as the calculator) that's only gone when I close the browser.
Not sure if anyone else has this problem...

Just going to chime in that Mewtwo's chances of returning were higher than Lucario's...and Lucario's back. What does that say for Mewtwo? Only a matter of time of course, seeing as it's basically Pokemon's most important singular pokemon character, seeing as it's the only one to have multiple games based around it. (Original Red/Blue, Yellow, FireRed/LeafGreen)

If by similar you mean they share two moves at best, then yes they're similar. Both fulfill completely different roles and niches then the other (one's built like a Psychic fighter, the other around his Aura mechanic), nothing would be lost in having both and in fact, both were intended to be in Brawl (I'll get into that below) and Mewtwo is considered to be the most likely candidate to return for Pokémon in SSB4.

Also, Lucario was never meant to be his replacement, what happened was both were intended to be playable but once time constraints hit Mewtwo ended up on the wrong end. Lucario's no more guilty then the other newcomers like PT in that regard.

Nope. I've tried messing with the wire, plugging and re-plugging, even changing headphones. Nothing works...
It's weird, I've never had this problem with any of the other browsers. Heck even Internet Explorer worked just fine...
