I really wonder if they will be able to get social groups back up before the second week of June.

Kinda doubt it, the mods/admins have been ignoring social group talk recently in the Xenforo thread. They originally said that they wouldn't work properly but later said that owners would be able to assign mods (which is all kinds of cool), so who knows.

Could maybe get some answers if we all started spamming that thread with complaints, but that's not cool.

There was this day where the site was down temporarily and I had no problems in entering that chat...

You guys are probably not interested but I have been lurking the smash 4 speculation scene for about 3 years on and off. I remember the old thread that was hella long and reading most of the messages. I posted a bit here and there for the few announcements like the Namco thing, but other than that just lurking. However, since the first look at the game is looming I might be a regular on here now.

The next highest I think was Oasis with 6000+ but that was over the period of a year.

Its weird how I have been a member here for over 6.5 years, yet lots of the regulars here who have been around for much less have a higher post count than me.

Its funny how there is so few people left even from the pre-Brawl days (especially the pre-Brawl unveil days). I may even be the only one left from pre-Melee speculation period.

I'll have to agree here as well. Smash 4 has been like no other forum experience; you simply can't get that dynamic anywhere else on the Internet.

I bet you had made 10,000+ posts in the nearly twelve years you've had been on GameFAQs.

Starphoenix is still around, though not too active. HyperFalcon will likely return when E3 comes around. At least these two pre-Melee speculators will return.

I recall HyperFalcon having an account here since before Melee's release. At the very least, he did talk about Melee. Starphoenix also mentioned in the SSB Wii-U thread that he has "kinda" been around since pre-Melee (although I'm too lazy to find the quote).
