I'd say who cares about Fire Emblem. The SMT (I can't pronounce it) series would be in much better hands under Sony, considering their history with RPGs - Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, etc. :ohwell:
Uh dude, Chrono Trigger was on the Super NES/NIntendo DS. Many RPG's even went to the PlayStation in the first place because they felt the Nintendo 64 wasn't good enough for them .*points the finger to Squeenix*

Data was also an issue. It would've taken several cartridges to do Final Fantasy VII meaning the price for the game would've been astronomical as CD's were much cheaper.

A teenager can know most of the world from experience? I'm sorry, that does not sound agreeable to me at all.

It really all depends on what the teenagers life was like. I feel I matured faster than most kids because I had divorced parents, a closet to come out of, a first (and my now current FINAL boyfriend) boyfriend who had hella scary parents who pretended to kill one another/did drugs, etc. It was a long long story that made me grow up hard and fast.

And looking back at it while it was hell? Now I'm glad to have went through it and learned and been prepared for what the world can be like.

But often in most cases when a kid that is 16/17ish says ****, it doesn't even come from their own brain. A lot of kids can easily be brain washed by peer pressure, parental figures, etc.

...Whoa. I'm dumb. Though I'm sure I've see the male Wii Fit Trainer before, I guess I hadn't realized the situation is the same as the Villager's.

Yeah. I really hope that happens now. I suppose their bone structures may be slightly different though, so it may not be quite as easy to do with the Villagers...

THEORY I DONT EVEN REALLY BELIEVE TIME: The reason we keep seeing Miss Fit's wonky shoulders is because her bones and her model don't match up properly, due to them seeking a single bone structure for both the male and female models. The bones for her shoulders are too big, and so the same bones for him might be too small.

More likely: Something like that is an easy fix best saved for later on in development.
Although it's a theory, I'm hoping you're right that we could get a male model. I find it unlikely, but who knows...

And thus why Cloud fanboys will never realize why he can never be in Super Smash Bros.

Fire Emblem is a highly popular and successful franchise. It's quite possibly one of the most popular Nintendo franchises here in Japan; just under Mario and Pokemanz. Smash made Fire Emblem accessible to the West. Needless to say, Fire Emblem is very important to both Smash and Nintendo. Saying anything else is just plain ignorance.

We have Dissidia for that anyways! ^^ [I'm not a cloud fanboy though, I love Final Fantasy though. Most if not all the games. Cecil is my favorite protagonist of the series followed by Zidane]

Same thing could be said for Namco's Tower of Druaga (Which is their "Fire Emblem"). It was a hit in Japan and spawned various sequels, an anime, theme park attraction, and a few characters played a huge role in Namco x Capcom. America on the other hand, either hated the game for its high difficulty or rudely ignored it.

Wouldn't he need his own voice though? Because imagining Miss Fit's voice coming from the male model? It's funny ****.
What's wrong if he sounds like a women?

Jk, jk. I'm sure giving him a masculine voice won't be a problem... right? Or maybe I'm wrong, idk.

We've had Megaman and X sound like a girl in Megaman 8 and Megaman X4, surely Man Fit Trainer wouldn't be too much of a problem if he had a girly voice :p

In extreme cases, Teenagers can indeed know most of the world from experience. But that's a controversy and couldn't be backed with solid facts.
and maybe the ability to turn around in midair.
You can turn around midair using a turnaround B. Don't you think the ability to turn midair without using a special is a little broken? Assuming your character has a bad B-air and quite a strong F-air, the usage of B-air will never be used due to the ability to simply turn around midair

Here's the thing though. What I visualized is that you have to commit to turning around. It's not an automatic thing.

That's why everyone thinks you are an immature child. You disregard facts and logic while embracing your own biased viewpoint. I'm not even a Fire Emblem fan but I see its importance within Nintendo.

As if you hadn't already lost pretty much all respect I could give you...

This sure did it.

There's a difference in not liking a series and not understanding that more than one part of the world matters.

It's just like the XBox is huge in the States, but Japan ****ing hates it.

You're not the only person in the world that matters always remember that.

Yeah of course, you have to input a specific command (Eg pressing X+Z+Left/Right) that will make you turn midair. It sure does increase the potential of mindgames and gimmicks, but it might be too much to an extent where the game becomes unpredictable.

I think I've decided my joke is too sick.
I bet it was showing a girl's ankles, you sick *******.

It's official, the Wii Fit Trainer is officially becoming a new Yuri icon in the Smash fanbase.

To the sheltered/wangsty lot of you, of course it's not agreeable. Circumstance doesn't give a crap what the number in front of your age is. When you are born into a situation you had no control over, grow up not knowing what luxury is, and literally stare death in the face before puberty, you don't care how big the world is, much less how much experience you have and what labels you are given.

I appreciate that you see FE for what it is even if it isn't your cup of tea, being the huge fan of it that I am I do not like when people make shots at the series like he just did there :/.

Are you sure about that? I think it's something that would need to be balanced carefully. Something like making it doable only once until you land could be a balancing factor.

I also suppose that Deity doesn't know that R.O.B. isn't just ''some robot" Sakurai randomly threw in, but actually the reason that Nintendo actually got into so many stores to corner the market.

Or that Mr. Game and Watch isn't just some blacked out figure.

He seems to think Sakurai has a 4 mile long mustache that that he twirls as he plucks these obscure meaningless individuals out and pokes the corpse of Ridley ever so often for good measure.

I wasn't disagreeing because I didn't experience a life like that. I disagree because even adults aren't going to understand most of the world. How am I going to think that a teenager, someone who is still early in discovering himself/herself still (regardless of how many experiences are shoved upon him/her from a lack of luxury), is going to exceed all adults? A teenager not caring how big the world is does not convince me that they understand most of the world, in fact that reinforces what Kuma said at the offset: people around that age tend to think they do have everything figured out, when they don't.

My point exactly, thanks for clarifying.

I'm quite positive because the idea of midair has been brought into discussion in the competitive seen. If it's balanced out and is limited to what you stated, it might be a good idea.

Honestly, I think there are a couple of things you could do to make things unpredictable, but easy to understand. I think what needs to be done is that these mechanics need to be visible and "defined". DACUS and the like were never told you to you in the game. This gives the game a sense of mystery, but it can also give an unbalanced vibe.

Of course it's unlikely that a teenager has much experience. But it's not impossible, a teenager might have seen more things than a 90 year old, and that's my point exactly. I also stated that most people around that age do indeed think that they know what they're talking while they don't really, but yet again, it's possible (even though it's an extreme case) to see one that actually knows due to experience.

*Yawn* I'll just devour a Noddie and get the Sleep Ability for now. While I'm sleep, I'll just leave this parting gift here.

All I can think about during this topic is how I'm sure lots of pedos that go around saying "love knows no age~" probably bring up "mental maturity" a lot too.

I concur, but Snake made the DACUS mechanic quite broken. That's why you might find a specific character who will make a particular mechanic broken (ICS's Chaingrab ). Still though, Smash 4 looks it's initially balanced, hope they keep up the good work and introduce unbroken mechanics.

There are a lot of cases where students end up marrying their teacher.
I've seen reports where teachers get fired, go to jail and when they get out the student ends up marrying them.
I don't think we can really say that their love isn't genuine or not, that's ultimately between them.
