And it was 15 miles uphill up mountains both ways, it was a blizzard, and you couldn't wear more than a t-shirt because Mike Tyson would attack you with Joe Frazier.

Then at the video game store we had to fight George Foreman, Randy Couture, and Semmy Schilt at the same time just to buy one game.

And after all that you couldn't even return home, 'cause you'd be snowed in. Than you just had to play the waiting game till someone dug you out...
Preferably in one of the following days, so you wouldn't have to eat... you know...

Gamescom overall seemed to be pretty disappointing.

I was somewhat interested in seeing Killer Instinct only to learn that the game will have a roster of a whopping 8 characters...I guess they'll all be diverse, so that's a good thing.

This is where the problem is right here. But I honestly believe most of Nintendo's fanbase are another reason, some don't bother to buy actual good 3rd party games like Madworld, Xenoblade, TvC, Last Story, Pandora's Tower and No More Heroes of the like even though they were hyping those up, (I know not everyone has the money to buy every game that comes out) then they wonder why have no 3rd parties on the console and claim that these companies are just "lazy" or they "hate Nintendo".

The biggest thing to come out of the event was a PS4 launch day (Nov. 15th for those who care) and a Vita price drop. But that's about it.

People should of figured it out right from the start considering all of those games were being published by Nintendo. It's not even a situation like Bayonetta 2, all three of those partially belonged to Nintendo (and in the case of Xenoblade Chronicles wholly owned).

PFFF, what kind of man do you think I am. Anyway, I had a pretty scary dream today. I went to go to the bathroom or something, and when I came back into the living room, I saw that the front door was open. This was at night, mind you. It was something so simple yet the implications and questions I had to ask were terrifying. Did somebody break in? Are they still in the house? I don't see anything stolen, were they after something more? My friends are asleep in the other room, are they safe? Etc.

E3's importance has gone down every year since 2006.

Still, E3 is important still, although it isn't the "can't miss" event it once was.

The Tokyo Game Show is also still a big event (it too has gotten less and less important), and the last time we had a new smash game, its' second trailer was shown at The Tokyo Game Show back in 2006 (where Fox was revealed in Brawl).

but petitions almost never work especially not for a game lol

you'd have to get it to Mega Man if not Sonic levels for Nintendo to even notice it

and we don't know with 100% certainty that Ridley isn't playable

yeah it looks that way considering the context of Sakurai's quote, but for all we know, he could very well actually still be a playable character

there should at least be something concrete backing up your efforts, don't go so hard in the paint just yet
