Super Smash Bros 4 (Wii U/3DS) Topic

[Swamp Sensei]

People don't have a glow after they activate their final Smash, and sometimes the effects off the attack last after they've finished the attack(I.E. Pit, Luigi, anyone who transforms, R.O.B., Ice Climbers). Still not entirely confident it's a final smash though.

It's been confirmed it's an item.

Can't be, there are 4 visible characters on the screen-Megaman, Villager, Link, and Samus, so if it's a final smash it's one of theirs, and Samus is out of the running because she's being hit...

Oh yeah...now I see Samus, but she's sort of hidden by the flames.

So Sakurai said it's a bomb item from Kid Icarus: Uprising? Sweet.

I was thinking the same thing, It could be the "X Bomb" from Uprising.

Oh, uhm... it IS the Xbomb from KI Uprising, if that's okay... at least, from what this end has seen according to people posting here about Sakurai's Miiverse post. It's a bomb that causes a different type of explosion than one would expect and that's really neat! <://3

But DAYUM. The range is so big, it could cover all of Ridley!

from the pic, the x isn't straight if you compare it to the battlefield platform so my theory is the x actually rotate but I want to be sure (I never play KI:U) does the x move or is static in the game?

Just a guess, but it might have to do with the ledges or underside of the stage.

I've heard that Melee's Battlefield has a bad overhang with the ledges.

That would be my guess as well, and it is different than Melee's FD. But Brawl's FD isn't ruined in the slightest.

It's actually the Kid Icarus Uprising item that is the X-bomb. It just looks tons better now, and more X-citing! Imagine playing giant mode with those items flying about. Good luck avoiding em. o:
