Dante is like, the only reason i'll play Marvel 3. Just style.
Mr. "Get back!" himself, Dante. He is such a fun character. Swag combos with him are some of the coolest ("everything but the kitchen sink combos").

Dormammu is definitely my favorite character in Marvel 3. TIME TO RUN THE OBSTACLE COURSE when he's got spells stocked. Sit there and lame you out with similarly-styled projectile assists (Doom missiles, "Captain Commando" Dante Jam Session, etc). Or, if you're Zak Bennett or one of the newblood Dorms, I'm gonna rush that **** down with teleport mixups and assists and all kinda of flaming junk! He's really, really fun to play/watch.

I wonder what would go down if Rocket Raccoon crossed Smash Bros. ensemble of space furries. :awesome:
He'd blow 'em to bits. Failing that, he'd just send Groot in for the kill.

Okay here:

So lovely gosh I just want to put my mouth all over it.
...

So how about Smash Bros., eh guys?

If the new effects in Smash 4 are any indication, everyone's an air bender.

Alright, so.....

Which characters do you think should be revamped like Bowser and Pit were?

Errybody. Definitely all clones, semi-clones, and people who are ever accused of being a clone. :)

But mostly Ganondorf.

Edit: Yeah, and Mewtwo if he returns and Luigi to incorporate the poltergust which is becoming so important to his character.

ROB's side special needs to die. I used to main the guy but every time I used the special I found myself thinking "what's wrong with me?!" I think I just really wanted it to be an actual useful move instead of being the regrettable mistake that it is.

I like ROB's side B how it can change the angle and all

I think it just needs to be buffed

R.O.B. could use either a new side-special or his original one buffed.

Ganondorf needs more attention than anyone.

And I actually have an idea for a Luigi Final Smash using the Poltergust, anyone interested in hearing it?

I guess everybody had that Korra moment...

"I can airbend...? I CAN AIRBEND!"

Le sigh. Not sure if I like that part of the stylistic changes. It seems...tacky.

All of them deserved to be revamped in some way, I think. I think it's kinda lame that Mario has the FLUDD AGAIN, for example.

I'd like Dedede to get a new Neutral Special. I know it's something he can do in-game, but it sucks because you can't use Copy Abilities (though that would've been hilarious). I honestly never use Dedede's Neutral Special.

NO! It's iconic.

Maybe they could change it to suplex though

Sucking in, then suplexing them

I'm really interested to see how Sakurai plans on implementing character customization. That way, you have even more ways to revamp your characters.

Aesthetically speaking, I hope Zelda gets her Skyward sword incarnation; having a casual 'princess' is a way of portraying her character they've never done before. I also love the little details they added to Olimar like the whistle and the button pad on his chest being redone. It looks almost like he has Sanwa arcade buttons on them. :3

King Dedede's Neutral Special could be replaced with something like winding up his hammer for a spin attack a la the Ice Climbers only heavier and having potentially hard knockback. He could puff out his chest and slamming forward. It like a lamer version of Kirby's neutral.

Yeah, if it's not a different move, I'd like to at least be able to do something other than spit them out in front of me.

Mostly, it needs to lose a lot of the starting and ending lag... it's a little too slow starting to be completely useful as a reflector and it just leaves you so open at the end, especially considering the knockback of the move itself is so minimal. It's just begging to be KOed.

His aerial game isn't superb either, but all characters have their drawbacks.

Oh, Ganondorf. Poor, poor Ganondorf.

What's your poltergust idea? Does it involve unleashing swarms of boos? Or does he run around with it trying to suck in enemies for an instant KO?

ROB's actually pretty good in the air, at least to me.

Pretty much at the moment Falco and Ganondorf would really appreciate having more diversity in their movesets, especially in the case of Ganondorf who desperately needs all of the improvements possible. Lucas and Wolf are other characters that could use a bit of a revamp for the sake of diversity, but not as desperately as the previous two. Other characters are more give or take, they can get new attacks but at the same time it's a gamble as to whether or not it will ultimately contribute to the game's balance or diversity.

It's a bit more of the latter. He rides around on the Poltergust like in the PAL version of the Hidden Mansion, unleashing a swarm of tiny Boos, which act like the Boo Swarm in Super Mario World, hovering at the top of the screen and swooping down at players, and after a certain amount of boos are released, he'll start to suck them back into the Poltergust and while riding it, you can ram into players and also shoot fireballs out of the Poltergust every 5 seconds.

at first I didn't like his original/current finals smash but then I read what his final smash means and its awesome

Luigi's Final Smash. As exotic music plays, he performs a dance befitting a sorcerer's incantation. A barrier envelops him, negatively impacting all in his area. Random effects include getting launched, sleeping, moving in slow motion, tripping, fainting, and losing attack power. This technique is a reflection of the dark side he embraced in his brother's shadow.

ROB's actually pretty good in the air, at least to me.

I only really only have problems when I'm trying to attack someone underneath me since the down aerial doesn't continue downwards safely, leaving only the neutral attack which, while really satisfying to connect with, isn't particularly versatile and it really telegraphs itself.

But I'm not really a super-pro and I never really concentrated on improving my air-game with him... it's hard since I'm so much better than my friends but worse than a lot of tournament goers.

For Dedede's inhale, I was really thinking that it'd be different at all from Kirby's... I was hoping that, in the least, after sucking in the enemy you'd be able to aim before spitting them out. Also, I'd want it to spit further and turn the enemy into a missile to KO other enemies.

With the Neutral Aerial, I think if you connect with the beginning and/or the very end of it (when ROB starts and when he stops spinning), you get the most out of it. His Down Air, I'll admit, is weird, but using it can also help you avoid attacks with the small hop it gives ROB.

I guess with the down aerial I felt like there was too much end lag and the little hop kind of makes it clear where you're gonna be in a second.

I really enjoyed playing as him, but I think ultimately I just loved playing him more casually and using his projectiles to KO people at weird angles. Dang, I love his non-side specials.

I switched to Lucas, but I guess he's not supposed to be top-tier either... I just think he's a blast to play as. I wouldn't mind if he got the Project M treatment. I haven't actually played PM but I like the idea of making his side special a freeze effect and doing Offense Up is nice so he at least has one of the powers from the game he came from as a special.

I forgot about that description, heh. It's super funny, but it totally doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Cleod9 and the gang are really working hard if these are the new Mario and Link sprites for the next version (9.0b). I can see the real reason why they said that they'll take care of DLC alone and disowned the Expansion Boards.
