RULES
I'll be using these rules for this tournament. For those who want a summery its:
-3 stock
-8 minute timer
-Best 2 out of 3
-No items
-No stalling (This means no running out the clock. Play until the end of the match, please.)
This will be double elimination.
STAGE SELECTION/LEGALITY
The first match must be played on one of the neutral stages (Smashville, Final Destination, Battlefield, Yoshi's Island). You may choose to ban one of these before your match starts.
You need to have selected and informed your opponent of your counterpick prior to the start of the first match. All of the following are legal counterpicks:
Castle Siege
Delfino
Halberd
Lylat Cruise
Pokémon Stadium 1
Brinstar
Jungle Japes
Luigi's Mansion
Norfair
Pictochat
Pirate Ship
Pokémon Stadium 2
Rainbow Cruise

You may also ban one counterpick before you start your first match. Honestly, these are open to debate. I'll listen to anyone who thinks there should/should not be a stage here. I also use Dave's Modified Stupid Rule VVVVV
Dave's Modified Stupid Rule: No stage may be used twice in a single set if the player choosing already won on that stage.

THERE IS ONE CRITERIA YOU NEED TO MEET TO JOIN. I REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 30 POSTS, TO ENSURE YOU ARE AN ACTIVE MEMBER, AND WILL NOT LIKELY MISS THE TOURNEY.
I understand that stuff happens, but people who drop out without a word make me mad. Just let me know beforehand if you're going to leave, and we'll have no problems at all
