Honestly I agree too kinda. I think if they want to represent Final Fantasy, They could've pick Cecil or Terra, since they debuted on the snes.

No if they wanted to "rep" Final Fantasy they picked the absolute best character for the job. If they wanted to pick a FF character with Nintendo ties they picked incorrectly but if you have to choose one character to be the embodiment of Final Fantasy you can't really debate there's a better choice than Cloud.

If I shared your optimism regarding the Smash fanbase handling disappointment in a measured fashion I'd say go hog wild. This instance is a stretch by any means; I've been down this path before, and a lot of people seem new around here, so I'd love to mitigate backlash should this picture prove... a picture.

And if it doesn't, there will be hype to go around regardless.

At this point, we can only hope that the ballot helps isaac.

Knowing them they will not make, they would just respond to the comment/twit like "C'mon thats a dumb excuse to your 0% character that is nothing more than a generic swordsman, but a monkey watching a TV is a 100% confirm to our favorite game sidecharacter" since I doubt anyone relacted to Gamexplain played Golden Sun, but yeah if they somehow make the video, will be a good up to our fight.

I think it was specifcally Derrick from Gamexplain who was the Isaac/Golden Sun fan. I remember him talking about Isaac during the Ballot days.

If Sakurai wanted to reinforce "yes, the ballot was real," he could blow everyone away and announce Isaac next, though personally, if I had to put money on it, Isaac will be announced in the last Smash Direct if he's in.

Smash 4: GS Music

Smash Ultimate: No signs of an AT yet, the Camelot angle screenshot, GS music is no longer in the Norfair stage.
To me, that is a good sign. Missing in action.

Maybe a stage? Music goes there? Maybe Music gets moved to the arena?

Idk, but things seem pretty nice to me. I feel like his AT would have been shown off already.

I mean that's why we here I been a lurker here since the slightest thought of isaac. Also would say I'm a superfanboy as Golden Sun is my favorite RPG. Still here because of high hopes but I get it people be in they feelings and I was but guess what he is in or out. We either gone rejoice or be let down either way. Have fun dont hold back feelings because the fear he wont be in otherwise this chat is pointless. But my opinion so I respect others I just thought we were past dont get Hope's too high. We all in!

IMO, I think Isaac has a great chance at being revealed in the next Nintendo Direct (probably a general). If he's in, of course.

In the original game there was a battle mode set in a colosseum where you could only use three party members when playing it.

There's one thing that confuses me.

You say that you are limited to 3 people in the Colosseum, right?

I looked it up, and when you are fighting monsters, you arent limited.

It's only limited in a link battle.

Isaac's magic is completely different from Robin. He uses earth and plang magic and creatures called djinn for stat changes and new abilities. He also uses special magic called utility psynergy that uses his giant hand you might remember from Brawl in interesting ways to solve puzzles
