Probably whoever was responsible for changing the mural just forgot to update that portion of if with Isaac and the resulting image glitch happened.

Also I would like to draw your attention to exactly where Ike is cut off. In the leak he is moved up and to the right significantly, and the spot where it has been shown was the cut off area over Little Mac's glove is exactly where his cape would have been as shown on the leak...so it is obvious that the grinch leak is either real or the guy who made it knew exactly where a character was going. What seems more likely? I will give all doubters time to think about it. I am moving to teamreal from teamhmm!

Does anybody here buy that skull kid theory claiming him to be in that grinch leak banner under Mach riders bike? I want him in personally, but it’s hard to make out if it’s really him or not.

I remember when a few people were drawing conclusions about the Isaac community based on a few people going ham over assuming the delay being partially due to Isaac.

If this is true, this is Phoenix Wright levels of turnabout.

Depends on the severity of how right or wrong the leak is. For instance, if the worst does come. And it’s just Incinroar, Ken, and SThe me square character that might not be Geno, than the backlashes will be devastating. It will be significantly less is Geno I say the square character. If Isaac is among them the backlash will be reduced about about 60%. If shadow and chorus kids are among the list, I not thinking the backlash will be nearly as severe. Again, it depends on the quantity of fighters. Right now the biggest backlash would be if Isaac is an assist trophy. Thankfully I severely doubt he is.

To be honest, I'm not entirely certain of Isaac's chances sans the Grinch Leak. There's more evidence (in my opinion) for the Grinch Leak being real than for Isaac to be in Smash, since the "Growth" plant could very easily be anything in my opinion, and the Rathalos screenshot is circumstantial at best. I also never trust the "insiders" saying Isaac is in, since there is very little reason to trust them.

Hello everybody, just passing by to show my support for the golden boy.

I've bought Golden sun recently on the Wii U eshop, and Iv'e just finished the Mercury lighthouse (and somehow skipped Kolima Forest?), even tho Saturos nearly kicked my butt ( WHY ARE YOU SO FRAIL IVAN, PLEASE TANK MORE THAN 2 HITS) I did it.

Even before I played Golden Sun, I knew he wasn't just a "generic anime swordman". After seeing all the djinn stuff, adepts, star elements and the psynergy , I was sold on him. And, I dunno , his over-all look just clicked with me.

(Also I believe the Grinch leak, and Isaac to be in, but I'm not going to debate about it, just want to show that I want him in Ultimate and that's what matter.)

I'm more interested in what will happen if it turns out to be real. The people saying it's fake are far more adamant about it it seems than those that believe it's real, despite the seemingly fewer number of them. I'd be more interested in individual reactions than the whole of the community.

While I do believe in the leak is real, I’m about 95/5 honestly. I’ve been supporting my Golden Boy since Brawl, and I’m taking this glimmer of hope. I am definitely mentally prepared just incase it’s fake. However if Isaac could still be in even if the leak is fake, then I’m still content , but for now I’m Team Real.

It depends on how much/which characters the leak got right.

Imo, Ken and Shadow are near locks with or without the leak.

Geno, and Isaac are probable based on circumstancial evidence.

And Banjo, Mach Rider and Chorus Kids are the real stretches that rely on the Grinch leak to be real to give people hope in them.

That said, so long as Geno, Isaac and Banjo are actually in, I doubt there will be any real backlash.

There's a massive disconnect between the "insiders" and the community. And the poor way they've handled it has caused everything to blow up in their face.

Sources are worthless without trust, and they've destroyed their trust. There's always been an element of resentment to the "we know but aren't telling" part of the insider community. Now they're asking for blind faith in their word over everything else. It's not pretty, and it will probably get worse.

This is exactly the issue with what the insiders are doing.

I said yesterday on the Official Thread that, in a vacuum, their word means little to nothing, and amounts to nothing more than hearsay*. Were this a court case, they'd have lost several times over, which includes that most of them have conducted themselves incredibly unprofessionally (and some would say shown their true colours).

*It doesn't really matter what their track records are, they could be right or wrong this time and that's all that really matters, thinking that they're right this time because they've been right previously is getting into Logical Fallacy territory.

Well, considering that most of what's going for it are reaches, I wouldn't say it's looking totally great. Unless you mean that the amount of characters would be cool ;p

Many sources (yes from insiders, which no one needs to totally discount, nor take as gospel) are corroborating that some of the characters are really in, but that the banner leak is fake.
From what multiple ones said, characters like Isaac and Geno (also incineroar who could be fake info passed) are, in general, strongly (in common) said to be the real characters (along with a few echos) in.

Even if the banner leak is fake, what they're saying is in favor of Isaac. All that + the plant item really goes in favor

So, there's no need to outright believe the leak to see good stuff in favor of Isaac.

I think the wait is the worst part. It wont be too long now though. And I'm looking forward to finally seeing what the real deal is!

In a way it's a bit exciting because we're getting closer. I think the worst was the way up to here. (personally, at least)

Same. The idea that all of these characters finally might make it to smash and we can literally close 10 year old discussions (on Banjo, Isaac and Geno anyway) is such a surreal feeling.

On the flipside, I'm kinda nervous on the off chance it is fake. I'm not sure how I and how many other people may react to it (It will definitely be a bummer thats for sure).

Kinda want it to be over already and just get excited for release, especially if they are in. If not, the excitement will still be there, just a little sadness to go with it
