Idk, maybe some kind of Golden sun app that would make it possible to train your characters or train djinns to make them slightly stronger? :O
The main discussion thread??? I am gonna go over there and tell them Banjo is gonna be in Steve's spot....and if somehow Steve does make it in I will play 100 matches against him in a row just to beat the s*** out of him lol. That will get them fired up if for nothing but my amusement.

I honestly believe it was a missed opportunity to not have a showdown between Felix and Isaac in The Lost Age.
I was personally under the impression that Isaac and Felix are too rational to blindly attack someone, let alone each other. They’re both shown to be pretty astute to the point, at least in Isaac’s case, that he borders on cocky. I think it goes against both of their personalities and therefore any confrontation would seem inorganic.
That's true but maybe if Felix was right there with Agiato & Karst and the duo bails out on them, Isaac would think of Felix as a killer and would attempt to attack him. Even if it does go against their personalities it would have made for a cool moment. Especially considering the fact that Isaac just witnessed two of his friends almost get killed.
He was yes but then you take in the events of The Broken Seal; what Isaac & co thought of Felix at the end of the game and honestly it's not that far fetched to think really.
Garet can summon a meteor. The only thing Briggs can summon to fight for him is his Grandma.
Took almost the entire game for her to get over a delusion. We have elixirs for that, you know
That does seem like a cool character mechanic, but maybe the other elements should be saved for any other Golden Sun rep that may get in during the future.
This was actually my original concept for a down special. I don’t think it’s necessary, as an earth based fighter is already interesting enough. But as a Golden Sun fan, I think this would be a way cool way of representing the series. Especially since the class switching mechanic was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game for me.
The main arguments I see for Steve is "Nintendo purists are dumb", "Minecraft is successful, so it should get a spot" and "Steve should get in because lol people would be mad."
I don't think that anybody is mad about your oppinion. Just that the thought of Steve getting in makes them nauseas. If any character should be ported from xbox it is Banjo, and Steve getting in would kill that. Also Steve's move potential would be like having Villager and Link making a baby and then cloning it with rubix cube dna.
I had an idea pretty similar to this with a little difference. Isaac's standard B if held would open a menu like Shulks manado artes to switch between Djinn. And a standard push would activate the Djinn's abiability which would go on cooldown. I know my version is a little less complicated but he has stat boosting Djinn to use as well as attacking ones. So that would still make him pretty unique without him being to complicated to add into the game.
Maybe having it be a duel between Felix and Isaac (colosso style) would have been better.
Well in this scenario, i'd imagine Felix is playing defense while Isaac's on the attack thinking his once best friend has gone mad.

Mondays have always brought us a fighter post, so never. It could mean we get one less of those this week than usual and lower the average for the blog theory.

I think there are a few reasons Minecraft’s success is so noteworthy in the face of the other series you listed. But to me, it’s the small start that it had. A completely independently developed game, that blew up into one of the best selling games of all time. No Call of Duty, Uncharted, or Assassin’s Creed game even comes close to its success. And those are all big name series, developed by big name companies, with tens and hundreds of employees. Plenty of people, myself included, discuss how cool it would be to get indie characters like Shovel Knight, or Quote, or Sans, or Shantae. But even as a crazy big Shovel Knight fan, I will certainly admit that Steve is the face of indie success stories. And not a single other character comes close to that notoriety.
