Sunrise, Sunset - Isaac for Smash Ultimate #GoldenSunday

So this post is going to seem a bit silly and probably frowned upon, but I've been thinking about something interesting to say the very least. And it will be somewhat relevant to the topic of Isaac. I'm not sure if anyone has kept up with the Dragalia Lost Mobile Direct. This was a new IP Nintendo announced for Mobile, meaning its their first Mobile unique IP. With all the gaming history coverage Smash does from Game & Watch, R.O.B., and Wii Fit, to Classic - Modern gaming, I feel like the Mobile Division deserves that same type of attention. Its a form of gaming and an important part of gaming history.

That being said, ending off the Smash Ultimate character roster (DLC included) with this particular character for both promotion and historical coverage purposes. I mean how cool would it be seeing this historical evolution honestly?

I know it may not be the best range of characters to display, but I wanted to get the point across that it feels amazing seeing characters like this span across generations all representing different ages and platforms. IDK, I am rambling. But it would feel great to get this range. Especially Isaac. Sorely underrated and here everyone is still cheering for him as if the game series never ended. Maybe the same kind of push could eventually reach a character like this, despite how new it is. DLC is always a possibility, so I'm hoping this can happen. Until then, just gonna keep pushing for Isaac.

It would be interesting to see a modern design for Isaac like they did with Simon and Roy.
So I'm all for it, if that's what they want to go with. (but I will always love his original look tho)

If done right (and knowing Sakurai, he can pull it off), I would love a mix of both Isaac's designs. And an option to have his classic look would be sweet! Makes me wonder if Felix would have the same treatment if he's in.

It is something I thought a very long time about lol. Even before any mention of this particular IP. But just based on what I've seen of it alone, it looks great. It looks to improve on ideas they had with FE Heroes, and even looks fun to play tbh. I'm definitely gonna try it. They are putting so much work into the world and story that it is hard to really believe all this effort is going into a Mobile Game.

That's Nintendo for you. lmfao.

I feel like that new Dragalia Lost would be an amazing Nintendo Cross over game with IPs. FE heroes should of done it first, but! I can see link and a few others in that game.

I don't see Isaac with the Gaia blade, I just see a generic sword.
For other Sword fighters there swords are part of the plot
Isaac didn't have a plot sword, only Matthew

To be fair, this isn't completely true. Robin, for instance, uses a Copper Sword and Levin Sword which certainly aren't plot swords. Simply popular or notable swords you see in the FE series. It would be a missed opportunity not to have a unique looking sword to showcase GS and if Isaac is playable, I think he'll get something in that department from Sakurai. Maybe not the Sol Blade, sure, but perhaps something fun-looking. After all, a big part of the series is weapon releases. When people see GS material after all they encounter 1. Awesome full cutscene summons 2. Cuhrayzee Weapon releases 3. Psynergy.

I'd love to see Dragalia Lost also get represented eventually, it is fresh looking and the design is awesome, maybe DLC for one of them (together with ARMS rep and possibly a XC rep) And I think it would be amazing to fully flesh on the evolution as previously stated with a blond from each era ahaha

Awesome! Funny, Simon has been my 2nd most wanted for Smash since Brawl. So you and I both got that and more! Let's hope Isaac gets the same treatment as Castlevania did too. Haha!

To be blunt. 50 Cent would be broken. It is already hard to deal with Bayo but 50 Cent would be triple S tier. No character would be able to handle his "rap time" (witch time but you get stuck in it for 10 games straight. We don't need a character that broken.

I think making Golden Sun 4 would be a HUGE mistake. Less than a million people bought Dark Dawn, how many of these people would buy a direct(i suppose) sequel? And it was 10 years ago(if realeases 2020), how many of them lost interest in GS already? Even how many of them left gaming or Nintendo?
Making a reboot/remake of GS1 and TLA with 3d renders, similar story, redesigned puzzles, new mechanics, new psinergys and a few new characters would be the PERFECT second chance for the series. Look at Xenoblade 2(1.5 million) or Octopath(1 million already) on Switch, if the game is good it would sell better than those and the series would recover entirely.
Aaaand Camelot already developed a Mario Tennis on Switch, they only have 3 choices for the next 4 years at one platform(unlike before when they had to develop for a handheld and a console).

I personally think the screenshot didn't include a Mia reference because she joins relatively later than the others, and if it did then the whole tease would be way too obvious.
