Sunrise, Sunset - Isaac for Smash Ultimate #GoldenSunday

I too have supported Isaac since the pre-Brawl days and because of that if Isaac is in I really hope that he doesn't get leaked before his reveal. I know many leakers have put Isaac in their leaks, but none of them are really concrete. I want to experience the feeling of watching a reveal without being certain. Remember the Megaman reveal? That was so hype and I had no attachments to Megaman. If Isaac is in, it ain't worth knowing a couple of months earlier. I guarantee the feeling will be different, the payoff so much more sweet.

The average of "fighters of the day" is 3 for week.
26 weeks x 3 = 78
There are 67 fighters + 6 echoes - 4 (pokemon trainer and Miis count as 3 but share same day) = 69 characters.
78 - 69 = 9 more characters
Yeah, if they show off Soren we then would have an idea of were the leaks would be.
I feel like Inceneroar would take over Bandana Dee. If the Pokemon Company wants to pressure Sakurai.
I feel like Banjo is also in a weird spot.

Since Nobou and Square Enix are not collaborating, and he's one of the most famous video game musicians of all time, yes. Paying for music relating to Final fantasy that is supposed to be in a smash Bros game is gonna be PRETTY high.

That seems reasonable.
The only thing I would add is maybe the Chorus Kids, just because they were planned for the previous games. Though maybe a Rhythm Heaven character didn't do well enough on the ballot and the idea got scrapped. Who knows?

If Rhymn Heaven was an idea at some point, it was beated out by Custom robo, and Wonderful 101.

I would have say that a Rhythm Heaven character was a lock, but since this Smash Bros is all about fan service, i think fan favorites like Isaac, Skull Kid, Geno, Bandana Dee are safer bets
But i can imagine Marshal or Tap Trial Girl as DLC

I wouldn't be complaining if it was "just" a fan's roster. That would be an amazing roster....and frankly I'd like to see people from the Smash community getting a character they want instead of getting "Labo Man" or something like that.
Though if Sakurai wants to surprise us with adding Chibi Robo or Phoenix Wright to the roster, I won't complain.
That said I think if we do get a surprise, it'll probably still be a character from the ballot....just maybe one that didn't perform as well. (like maybe a Custom Robo character)

Would a Rhythm Heaven rep count as a surprise to you? Because then it would still be a fan roster, as its popular in Japan. Otherwise what kind of surprises do you mean? I don't want another Wii Fit Trainer.
I wouldn't mind it at all if a Rhythm Heaven rep got in. They'd definitely be one of the more unique characters like Villager and I'm sure would be fun to play.

I mean they would inject fresh blood in the roster because maybe Castlevania aside up until now all revealed characters are just the most wanted. And that is cool no denying that but I just hope Sakurai is not just throwing the ballot at us and other series get a chance.

I wouldn't really consider Rhythm Heaven a "surprise" or an "out there" choice though. Alongside Golden Sun I'd say it's the Nintendo IP most likely to get a spot on the roster. The franchise is a pretty big deal in Japan after all.
I feel like there are a number of unrepped Nintendo franchises that would fall under both "fan pick" and "surprise".

They're all kind of bubbling under in terms of popularity and if Sakurai wanted to go with a surprise while still also being a fan pick, he could choose to include a character from one of these franchises. I'm not saying it's likely, but if we get a "Sakurai Surprise" I think this could be the form it takes.
That said I'm not convinced there will be enough unique characters to make this possible though.

Golden Sun (the first one at least) isn't that long, it's about as long as the average Pokémon game.

That wasn't even the worst part. Now he gave a lot of teasing tweets last night as if he was finally certain about some stuff, and now today he tweeted he knows nothing about the role of skull kid. Total discrepancy and contradicting himself at this point. The man has lost it and doesn't even know how to be a good troll. Either way… if Isaac and Skull kid gets confirmed, I'm pretty sure we never needed a leaker to tell us anyways, the evidence has been teased and hinted by Nintendo all along after all.

I still think Sakurai will sneak in one curveball for the final base reveal (Yuyuki Goku, as seen on my sig). Having one is probably a spot he saves for in all of his roster plans.

So, yet another "leak" is out (similar to the Gardevoir/Gothielle one) saying Camelot has no interest in Golden Sun and declinded Isaac and Felix for the game.

Didn't the Takahashi brothers do an interview saying that when they were designing Mario's role in Aces' story, they thought about him being somewhat like an Adept from Golden Sun? I'm sure they would be thrilled to have Isaac in Smash Bros., as Golden Sun was their most successful property ever developed (and before people suggest the Mario sports game, Nintendo made those in-house first and then Camelot took over due to their familiarity with golf games, since they were responsible for creating Sony's "Everybody's Golf"), and if this goes over huge in the community, this would help set up more Golden Sun games down the road.
