(starts rant) and he so f***ing deserves to cry, he's been referenced enough already as a character in mkds, and being a group of enemies in subspace. yes, he's part of nintendo history, we get it sakurai. he doesn't deserve being the "american rep" cause that's what sakurai seems to think. if it werent for him, there would be no nintendo in the u.s. that doesnt mean he deserved a slot, what nintendo has done before this was good enough.

they're completely different attacks in general. the only thing thats the similar are there B moves. same with Luigi. but you didn't put Mario's face where he should be.

ALL of his regular A attacks. they, quite litteral, are NOTHING like Fox's moves, in terms of neither look, nor concept.

If Wolf had been given a final smash that 2 other characters didn't already have, then I would agree that he was 'Luigified', but since he was given a Landmaster he never even had in the Star Fox series, he isn't quite Luigified to most people.

Regardless, Wolf is less of a Fox clone than Falco (which is good), but they still could've been more diverse with his moveset than just the regular A attacks.

Though, Wolf's one of the characters I'll be maining anyway.

I'd like you to provide me links to these "comparison videos" that show just exactly how Wolf is a fox Clone.

Sure they were based off the same moveset, but in Brawl, all the "clone" characters are so different it doesn't even matter anymore.

Sup guys. Well, I thought getting my wisdom teeth being pulled would of been a painful ordeal, but they drugged me up so much that...I can't remember s*** about it. Seriously, I remember before the operation, them giving me the sedation stuff, and like 8 hours later. Can't remember anything in between. So it was nice not remembering or having any pain whatsoever....except the right side of my face is swollen, so my speech is a little off, but hey...it's not painful!

So did I miss mu....yeah, realized I don't really have to ask that question. Stryks, get in the game man! We needs our updates!

Eh, maybe I'll just go back to sleep. I don't get it. I've seriously been sleeping for the past few days, trying to get the sedation out of my system, but in the end, I just feel like going back to bed....

I've just been gone because I stayed with my mother for the past few days to deal with the pain I THOUGHT I was going to have, but really all I've done is sleep. I mean I've usually tired and stuff, but not as tired as I am now.

One similar move to Fox's? The first that comes to mind is his upward smash. Then there's his down Smash (a stronger version of Fox's), as well as the Up+A move (while in the air)... All do the same thing to the opponent and knock them in the same direction, and like any other character with cloned moves, the strength of those attacks were just tweaked a bit for Wolf.

and I don't want any of that "Wolf and Fox both use their feet in this move!" crap...

Well that "crap" does make the moves similar regardless of what you want.

Wolf's final smash isn't the least bit true to his character like it would've been if say, he called in a team of Wolfens to attack the players or something.

And repeated final smashes in general, not cool... Especially when an awesome character like Wolf ends up being the victim of having recycled finishing moves like the Landmaster.

They're not different (except in appearance). Ganondorf transforming into Ganon and Captain Falcon using his F-Zero car both lead to a K.O. in pretty much the exact same fashion.

Yes it does, especially when a character is given a final smash that 2 other characters already have. Not to mention, Wolf never had a Landmaster tank in the SF series to begin with. That indeed shows how much of a clone they made him out to be, along with his B moves (not to say that that makes Wolf a complete clone).

I think the problem with characters like Falco and Wolf is not that people think their moves are too similar, it's that the characters are too similar. Before I saw more footage of Wolf in action, one of the things that made me the angriest about the roster is that we'd get "Fox, Fox with a beak and Fox in grey".
They're all furry space pilot guys with about the same build and a cocky attitude, same art style, same origin....
Hence why I supported WW Link. Although his moves were bound to be similar, he "feels" completely differently because of his cartoony style.

By now I kinda like Wolf because he actually brings a unique attitude to the game. I mean, the guy is a literal beast. That's quite awesome.
Fox is still just that annoying kid nobody will care about anymore now that he's not top tier and Falco is just Fox except he's more of a cock.

As far as Wolf goes, he may not be a full fledged clone (in the sense of Falco), but you gotta admit there are quite a few similarites between Fox and Wolf. But I'll play as Wolf because he has enough distinct characteristics that seperate him moreso than Falco could of ever done. But still, Wolf getting a Landmaster for his Final...that's just bulls*** in my opinion. Falco should of used an Arwing, and Wolf should of used a Wolfen. End of story.

Evolution? Where did that come up? Oh yeah, RDK...uh, I believe that evolution does exist in the sense that the world and its inhabitants today are evolving constantly, like getting immune to more diseases, and animals getting new traits. But being raised to believe in God for...all of my life, it contradicts the theory, so I really don't believe too much in either category. So I guess...I'm a creationist/Darwinist person, believing in both God and evolution, if that makes any sense.

And I saw Rey's post about my operation. It may be because I'm still VERY zoned out, but it looked like you thought I was under for 8 hours? No, I was probably only in for 1 or 2, but I just can't remember anything. That's how powerful the sedation was. I remember...eating between those eight hours, and constanly asking if I took the medication I was supposed to take (because, I couldn't remember), but yeah...those eight hours I was basically sleeping, trying to make sense of things (at least, that's what my mother told me)

But to stay on topic, and be a part of the discussion, I don't know when to expect the next update. I would know, but I haven't been near a computer until last night. So anyone know, or should we just wait for Stryks?
