Aniway, I hate Lucario, like all the 4th gen pokemons, but he would be the best rep for the 4th gen... 4th gen.... i hope Sakurai stycks with the 1st gen though.

I can agree with the starter, most peoples suggestions suck. I thought red wouldnt make it but.....look now. but everyone be reasonable, think of people who have a chance, dont complain if you dont like the idea of a character if it is logical, like sonic. if you dont like sonic that doesnt mean he doesnt deserve a spot in the game. i dont like jigglypuff but he/she deserves to be in the game.

Honestly, four reps (guessing Pichu is out and Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and Pokemon Trainer are going to be the only Pokemon reps) is fitting for the franchise and enough, I honestly don't want another Pokemon taking place of an extremely original character, despite his chances being low or high.

5 Reps for the second biggest Nintendo franchise isn't actually that much. That's a whole one more than Melee.

Obviously millions of people in Japan highly know who Darkrai is, as most people who've purchased Diamond/Pearl, so he isn't that unknown.

Note that even before the release of Diamond/Pearl, people STILL wanted Lucario in Brawl, even though they had no way of obtaining him at all. So that reasoning isn't very good at all, really.

And MGS4 wasn't know until 2005, it comes out in 2008, and we have music from it in Brawl. And Lucario's biggest competition went down the drain in Deoxys, and somewat in Munchlax. Watch Meowth, Blazekein, and Gengar be deconfirmed next, not that they have any chances at all.

And Luke, DKC is old. It's old. It's a classic, but it's old. Both DK stages in Melee were based off DKC, because neither of those places appeared in that way in DK64 and DKC. I've played all 3 DKC games, and DK64 so I should know. XD

Again, I made a vid with 14,000 views on youtube, and no complaints about Lucario on my list [though someone mentioned they were p***ed no 3rd gen rep was gonna make it, while a 4th gen rep (in which they hated the 4th gen) has good chances]. And again, who is gonna be the new Pokémon character=???? Why in the name of God should Zelda get 5 reps and Pokémon 4 when Pokémon outsells it over 4 to 1=??? No one else is near as desired for Brawl, period.

Not quite. I used to think that Tingle was a stupid idea as well... but Tingle's appearance in several recent Zelda games as well as his popularity in Japan (He got his own game!), make him not such a lame character idea.

PacMan, well think of it. He's a big video game legend. One that Sakurai could easily obtain rights to I'm sure.

Saying that a character is stupid is an opinion... but saying that a character is a "lame character idea" is not so much. A characters chances of making it in Brawl are a lot more objective then subjective.

I would go around saying that Sonic is a "lame character idea", but my sole opinion isn't a factor in Sonic's chances of making into Brawl.

Pac-man...do I even need to post the history of Pac-man=??? Pac-man hasn't appeared in a good game since the 70's, and in it, he appeared as a women. AS A WOMEN! And he's a man [sorta]. Simply sad, and he is not Brawl material. He's more like something ever more retro-er then Mr.G&W ever will be. Still, Pac-man had some good arcade games, and were plenty of fun. But ever heard of Pac-man 2, lol! Let's just say it was crap!

And stupid is a character like Link's Uncle, who has no meaning to the Zelda series OTHER THEN he gives Link his sword and shield, dies, and is revived by the Trifforce in the end [all in ALTTP]. Stupid is wanting to play as some random non-gaming character, who has no chance. Like that John Madden for Brawl thread I was on, lol ["A true gaming icon and pioneer"=it's name].
