Steel City Smash - general thread

yea, i know that we havent played in a while... most likely because last week was my prom week. im organizing something this weekend though. i havent stopped playing at all, but in the past couple of weeks i've noticed who the serious players in the crew are, and i will probably start to cut members who i think are not that serious. ill be in touch with you guys about another smashfest at my place.

boo -- I've been pulling a bunch of 16 hour shifts at work, so I've had less free time. However, I just switched my schedule around so I have more days off (but when I'm on I'm working pretty much all day.) So I'm off today and tomorrow if you want to play. I'll give you a call today if you feel like getting together.

Also, I've got this weekend off, so if scs wants to get together, sounds good to me.

Edit: Cr@p, I'm terrible against Falcon. Guess I'm gonna hafta keep practicing my jigglypuff.

cool guys, i need to start playing alot again. only bad part is that i dont really have anyone to play against on this side of town other than emperor gannon. so ive just been working on some of my samus tricks, and im making her my new main. ill probably hold another smashfest at my place, and of course you all are invited. also feel free to bring other smashers. i will post more info on the day and the time

well... sweetooth i thought you wanted to go to capes smashfest its next weekend you know...Also i remember i told you i played Keer. I have improved considering at Tekko he 4 stocked my link and this time i think he 1 or 2 stocked me... not sure... but hopefully we can get either 2 cars or something to go out to capes place... if you need help with gas money just ask me...ill use some of the prize money i have for that lol.And anyone thats going better know i will be playing all day and all night there to practice my *** off.

just in case its of any importance i will be leaving in 2 weeks from now for a while... almost 2 months actually. ill be going to germany and i will of course practice my technical shkilzz while im there and hopefully meet some german smashers too. unfortunately ill be missing that tournament that iceburgh's been talking about.

Sorry I couldnt make it to your smash sweetooth, but how was everything lots of people? many setups?how long did you guys play and who totally pwned all of you? I know Fzan owned me last time I played him. Possible next smashfest is smash clash? I feel like I missed out, ive actually improved somewhat since the last time (L-cancelling, waveshine combo, drillshining and shinespiking etc) I've also started to pick up playing with Marth a bit, although I will say that he is no where near where i've gotten with Fox.

well, to answer one of your questions... mow owned us all. he's the best in the state. but dont feel too bad though, you just missed a ton of good experience. i do look foward to playing your fox though, and seeing how much you have improved. see ya soon man... probably at smash clash 1



edit----- actually, i will probably hold another smashfest sometime before smashclash to warm up for the event. maybe a week or so before SC1

Hey SCS, I played with Beaver's Panda Detective crew recently and I think they'd kick yer *** atm. I hope you've been practicing cuz those pandas got skillz mang. I still havn't decided on whether I want to join a crew or make one...been thinkin bout a crew called Pittsburgh Smash Elite with the top5 players or so. Just a thought tho.

Fzan, we really aren't that great. However, my friends and I are all looking to get into the competition scene. I'm sure some of us will be willing to set stuff up with you guys.

GOOD NEWS :
Twin and his brother live across the road from a nice refurbished youth center that is perfectly set up for Smash fests and good times. We all know the lady who owns it since we've done volunteer work there before...she'd be willing to open it for free almost any time.

BAD NEWS:
It is backlogged with reservations for stupid *** graduation parties and flea markets.

CONCLUSION:
Won't be available until July. We can Smash elsewhere though.


Yo, Farzan, I need to play with you sometime. Every time you stop by, I'm busy with stuff. A shame since you're such an awesome player. I need some of that Fox, man. Perhaps a Sheik vs Bowser $$$match, hmmm? Nahh

As for Mow, I'm going to haul *** to Erie later this month to get in some rounds with him. Can't wait to get rapestocked.

Sorry 4 the slow response, but may i add that the 3lvl9s were on a team? besides its 2 ez. Ive been looking all over the place for tourneys and find nothing. All my friend suck at melee, so im trying to find new , actually GOOD ppl to play against. So if you think im a noob, play me and well c. I need not talk. My actions wil do all the talking.

Well since we're going to base each other's entire character on one strand of information I think your dad is a callous paranoid yuppy. I guess having fun without a **** charge isn't fun to do since we're not in the 60s anymore.

I swear when we're old and have kids, they'll need a helmet for everything, including jerking off. And Comedy Central will make jokes about people who remembered the ****ing towel but forgot the helmet. Classic.
