from bottom to top
you need fast fingers.
moonwalk is timing
pillar refers strictly to sheild pressure, a regular shine combo isnt technically pillaring
one time a falco corrected me on an internet forum

yeah but honestly, it doesn't matter. when someone says pillar, you know what they mean, most people refer to pillaring as a combo anyway.

the shine firefox is just (when hanging on the ledge):

-down B on the control stick
-quickly up on the control stick and press B immediately
-once you're charging the firefox, fox or falco will float and you should push toward the stage just in case you mess it up and falco doesn't grab the ledge.

a lot of players do it

you can just hit down+b, up+b
you don't have to time the up b or hold it or anything like that
just click click

yeah i can do the one where you just hold away then up b but that doesn't look as cool which for a brawl noob is extremely important

one thing brawl is better than melee is you can buffer the A after a jump like Melee Marth's sh double f-air is hard to do for me cause i can't just move my fingers really fast

melee isnt too hard
brawl is too easy

all you have to do is keep practicing
after 2 days of casual practice i went from never getting sh dfair to about half the time
but basically just keep playing and **** gets easy

So is this still happening? . .or is it being pushed to another date. Seems like alot of people can't go this time, I'm probably going to wait till next time when it'll be more organized.

Is there anyone in 805 that lives in Camarillo? I want to practice with different people

Use Z on the first Fair, barely have to move your fingers at all lol

Note to anyone who plays P: When you play him stay on his right side.

no i literally mean if you hit the attack button too fast after the jump the button doesn't input doesn't really matter what button i use

so sh double f-air becomes a timing thing more than a speed thing

edit: i have no idea about the tourney it's bigfoot's thing i would just assume no for now

Sorry didn't mean to do that on purpose, I was going to quote you at first but then saw the first part of the comment by Junk and just ctrl-v'd :psycho: my bad.

It's still on, Junk, the guy has a laptop just for tournaments, so you just need to help him with it

Sorry I haven't been responding, I'm switching schools and have been buried in paper work so I can get an inter-district transfer.

This will be happening, and I will be showing up at the beginning to help set up, allisbrawl page is here http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=4312

EDIT: but it is kinda last minute, 24th then?

remember junk:

1. short hop with control stick
2. fair with c stick
3. ???
4. Profit!!!
?????!

you'll have to ask lovage on this one
personally I like using Y, and I think it's the best one

using up to short hop gets your let thumb ridiculously in shape, but you can't short hop on certain controllers consistently (they change a lot/wear in differently)
