Well, despite how good an Idea that might be, I kinda doubt it's actually going to happen. If you think about it, Starfox is one of the seven main Nintendo series, and of those, Pokemon doesn't have a regular cast, Samus is the only real protagonist character that does any real fighting for the federation (and doesn't die), Link is so Iconic that Nintendo can't have a LoZ without him being the main character, and Kirby has sub games to do that (Check, several Kirby games allow you to play as someone else too, just you have to play as Kirby first). Really, the two oldest of Nintendo's Known franchises are the only ones who's characters get a game of their own outside the major Character, super Mario, and Donkey Kong (although DK is limited only to a spinoff and a remake of said spinoff, Diddy Kong Racing). Luigi got his own game (Luigi's Mansion), and Yoshi & Wario got their own franchises (Yoshi's Island **** and Warioware for example). Starfox is really, Really tiny in comparison to those 6 other franchises, so just jumping from 5 games backing one Character to their rival is kinda crazy right now. Besides, if they do that, Wolf, unfortunately, isn't likely the most likely one. There was a game called Dinosaur planet that was supposed to come out on the N64, but was scrapped due to the fact that the N64 was ending it's life (Mother 3 suffered similar fate). Guessed who was the main protagonist? If you can't guess, the game was remade into Starfox Adventures after the fact that one of the Characters looked similar to Fox. The other one got a redesign into... I mean come on! If you call yourself a Starfox fan you can answer this one!
