I said technically, considering it is bringing the final content together and is 3.61, along with the fact that the PMDT disbanded. If any of the previous three statements were false, I would understand, but it's the closest thing we'll ever have to another official update, which is why I was stating it as technically the latest version. Along with this, it would not be leaked content on the stage expansion creator's end as long as he wasn't distributing the leaked content, even if it was something compatible with it.
If you mean the stages labeled CUSTOMXX then yeah you can. The problem is that you have to add alts to all of them because in the ASL tool you cannot specify CUSTOM01 from CUSTOM02Is there a way to add alts to the extra stages?
Alright, then. Just curious, which file is it under for adding an alt for the custom stages? If you mean the stages labeled CUSTOMXX then yeah you can. The problem is that you have to add alts to all of them because in the ASL tool you cannot specify CUSTOM01 from CUSTOM02
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. If you are talking about which file you need to add an alt to like i said its all of them. If I wanted to add an alt to CUSTOM01 then I would make CUSTOM01_Z, but that means that I also have to make CUSTOM02_Z as well. In my build i have CUSTOM02_Z as just a copy of CUSTOM02 since I don't want to give that stage an alt, but i did want to give CUSTOM01 an alt.Alright, then. Just curious, which file is it under for adding an alt for the custom stages?
Wait, so you don't have to actually go in and code that a specific button combination will go to an alt for that stage?I'm not entirely sure what you mean. If you are talking about which file you need to add an alt to like i said its all of them. Well if you want to code CUSTOM01_Z to be selected by pressing L + A then CUSTOM02_Z will also be called using L + A its just the way the ASL tool works.Wait, so you don't have to actually go in and code that a specific button combination will go to an alt for that stage?
You didn't install over a fresh build? So when i install the extra 36 stages, i start up the game and it starts just fine. I get to the character select screen and everything is fine EXCEPT Roy is missing. In his place it's just a gray box and if i put my cursor over it the game crashes. Anyone know what's up?
i have a few custom skins, do i need to download a fresh untouched build? You didn't install over a fresh build?
What does this have to do with stage expansion?heard of the lunchables build that's coming: https://www.reddit.com/r/SSBPM/comments/532xv3/regarding_the_lunchables_build/

What would happen if it became the new tournament standard?
could change the .gct up to fit more costumes or something of the like. What does this have to do with stage expansion?
Question: Do you have a stage expansion code that works for PMBEX? If so, where can I find it? Or is the one from the thread works also for PMBEX?
Here's a stage expansion pack for Project M 3.6 final! There are four versions, that add 12, 16, 34, and 36 stages respectively. There's no wi-fi safe version this time, but I might make one later if there's enough demand (or someone else can make one.) The pack comes with 36 copies of the Training Room to make sure your icons don't crash.
For the +12 version, only the stages selected in the random stage select will be chosen on random, and the expansion stages will never be chosen.
For the other versions, all stages will be included in random regardless of what the random stage select screen says.
The "hold L" alternate stage loader (http://smashboards.com/threads/407577) is not enabled for STGCUSTOM stages in any of these .gcts - if you want that functionality you'll have to edit the code yourself, at least for now.
If you add stage pictures, you will need to resize your MenSelmapPrevbases so they're smaller! My Stage Manager can do them all at once for you (Tools -> Resize all prevbases).

Old version (Project M 3.5):
Here's a stage expansion pack for Project M, but without any stages - just 36 copies of the training room. 36 + 42 = 78 stages total, which is the maximum the SSS can hold.
The screenshots above show the maximum number of stages. The .txt file in the "codes" folder also contains two other SSS codes you could use instead - one has just 6 extra stages on each screen, and one has 8. See the screenshots of the old version (in the spoiler below) - the icon layout is the same.
There are two versions of the pack - one for P:M full set, the other for wi-fi safe. Just put P:M on your card and then copy these files over it.
If you add stage pictures, you will need to resize your MenSelmapPrevbases so they're smaller! My Stage Manager can do them all at once for you (Tools -> Resize all prevbases).

Old version (Project M 3.02):
This is based on my Classic Expansion Pack, but I replaced all the stages with copies of the Training Room, removed all the music, and changed the portraits to say the name of the stage. Basically, it's a template you can use to put your own stages in.
In addition to the 42 stages in Project M already, one template has 36 extra stages, another has 16, and a third has 12. Each uses a different icon layout. All three templates are in the 7-zip archive below.

There's a rel converter online. Google search "rel converter" and it should be the first thing. Just make sure you know what stage you're trying to port overhelp ME! I added the music and preview images to all stages, but some stages i download dont have a rel, and also I dont know how to replace them... help!
jajajj I already did my stage pack, its finished, but this is a serious question.... how can I add stages to brawlex packs like... Cobalt legacy, PM EX, etc...?There's a rel converter online. What do you mean by add stages? Like more slots or replacing the ones that are already there?jajajj I already did my stage pack, its finished, but this is a serious question.... how can I add stages to brawlex packs like... Cobalt legacy, PM EX, etc...?
I mean... ADD STAGES , I added them but the characters on the css dissapear and I cant select nothingWhat do you mean by add stages? Like more slots or replacing the ones that are already there?
If it's add more slots then just take the code for however many slots you want and replace the code in the gct for the stage select screen with one with more slots. If it's replacing stages then you just need to replace the files in the stage and module folders
well no you don't replace the gct. the gameconfig just let's you add more lines of code i think. But you have to open up the gct using gct edit or another program and replace the sss code in PMEX or Cobalt Legacy. If you straight up replace the gct file then you'll lose your charactersbecause I replaced the gameconfig too..
so I dont have to replace the gameconfig? Just the gct?
oh.... that happened to me.... so.. I add the codes from the stage gct. to the brawlex gct with a gct editor?well no you don't replace the gct. the gameconfig just let's you add more lines of code i think. But you have to open up the gct using gct edit or another program and replace the sss code in PMEX or Cobalt Legacy. If you straight up replace the gct file then you'll lose your characters
help, what are the sss codes in this?well no you don't replace the gct. the gameconfig just let's you add more lines of code i think. I downloaded the gct editor and Java but I dont know which Jar File to run.lol like i said you have to use a gct editor. The codes should look like they are in hexadecimal. no that hot garbage.
Also in case you can't find the sss when looking at the gct editor try looking at the Codeset.txt file that comes with the download of the expansion pack. It should show what the sss code looks like and it has the code you can replace it with
