Hi everyone,
I'm starting something new for the Week in Review where I go into one thread per week and ask a series of questions/ask for opinions over a certain topic. Some of these are Top 10 Lists.
In the next issue, I will be featuring a segment titled "Top 10 Wanted Stages". That being said, what are your top 10 most wanted stages? Please include them like so:
1. New stage (franchise name)
2.
3.
4.
1 being your most wanted and 10 being your least most wanted. Please include the stage name and franchise. Responders will be featured on the WiR!
For me:
1. Bowser's Castle (Super Mario Bros.)
2. Guar Plains (Xenoblade)
3. Twilit Palace (Legend of Zelda)
4. Nintendoland (Nintendoland)
5. Mario Party (Mario Bros.)
6. Katrina (Star Fox)
7. Sunset Shore (Donkey Kong)
8. AR Camera (3DS. Can play anywhere)
9. Phandora Drifts (Metroid)
10. Murasame Castle (Nazo no Murasame Jo)
Don't know how late I am, but this looks fun so I'll give it a shot.
1. Clock Town/Tower (Majora's Mask)
2. Lightning: Loop Cross. (F-Zero GX)
3. Phendrana Drifts (Metroid Prime)
4. Flying Battery Zone (Sonic & Knuckles)
5. Airship Fortress (Super Mario Bros 3)
6. Sanctuary Fortress (Metroid Prime 2)
7. Wacky Workbench (Sonic CD)
8. Shadow Temple, specifically Bongo Bongo's Drum (Ocarina of Time)
9. Minecart Madness (Donkey Kong Country Franchise)
10. The Stone Tower (Majora's Mask)
It took a great deal of willpower to not just list Majora's Mask locales over and over again; Clock Tower, Southern Swamp boat tour, Woodfall Temple outside, Woodfall Temple's spinning platform on the inside, Deku Palace, Snowhead, Snowhead Temple's Center (could rise and fall to change the layout), Zora's Domain stage, Gyorg's Room, Ikana Canyon, the farm that Aliens attack, Stone Tower, Ikana Castle... the list goes on and on. I don't know how they decided to go with Great Bay in Melee. -_-
I could have also comfortably listed every single Sonic CD level; that game had some great variety and a time travel gimmick could be interesting. Perhaps the stage goes to the past, and if the players destroy part of the stage there then the stage eventually travels to a good future, but will otherwise go to a bad future? Wacky Workbench just seemed the most fun.
